Uplifting quotes & Inspiring Thoughts
I hope you can help me add uplifting and inspiring quotes here.
Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear. If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today.

There are moments of happiness. For many years, I was searching for a persistent state of happiness (or at least peace) as well. What I have found is working through things allows the storms to pass with confidence. We live in a world that is in a constant state of change. Now, I can step back and take a broad view without being in fear of what the various outcomes "may" be. Planning without ruminating in addition to other coping skills makes my story interesting.
It took a long time, hard work, wonderful mentors and a large dose of self-compassion to arrive this state.
I wish the same for you as I already recognize your strength. Be well and be kind to yourself.
@Compassionatelistener108 I'm working on it, finding my own version of happiness. Thank you! I hope the same for you 😊

You may have to fight a battle more than once to win it. -Margaret Thatcher
I see your true colors shining through, I see your true colors and that's why I love you.. So don't be afraid to let them show... Cyndi Lauper
A friend may well be reckoned the masterpiece of nature.

I know it's one everyone probably already knows, but 'This Too Shall Pass' is a great quote to remember.
Life is too short to live your life to make others happy. You have to love your life in a way that makes YOU happy!
" Miracles can come from your broken pieces , If you just give your broken pieces a chance ".
"...The point isn't to live without any regrets. The point is to not hate ourselves for having them..." Kathryn Schulz
"I am grateful for any and every encounter — yes, even the ones that left me brokenhearted. Now I know that even the brokenness made me seek the healing. We cannot seek water without thirst. And when I come across people who carry their own pain and suffering — which is all of us, each and every single one — having had my own pain makes it so much more real, more personal, more immediate to sit with them and their pain. We are rarely more human than we are when we see the suffering in one another."
— Omid Safi, In Search of Kindness
"The way to love someone is to lightly run your finger over that persons soul until you find a crack, and then gently pour your love into that crack."
— Keith Miller
"Don't Take Anything Personally. Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a reflection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering." Don Miguel Ruiz
"We feel nurtured when we are nurturing. Only a nurturing person can nurture, and a nurturing person is nurtured by his or her own caring attitudes. If you can develop these qualities, you will no longer have to go around like a sponge, soaking up the drops of love others leave behind."
— Ponlop Rinpoche
Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly!
@WhiteBearClub
Ooh, that's a good one, I haven't heard that one before.
@Pleiades20 maybe it's because I put it together myself :D
"The people who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world are the ones who do."
"You were given this life because you are strong enough to live it."

Turns out life is the teacher. Also turns out I have to be both the teacher and student.
