2025 Week #5 Weekly Goal Sharing! (Monday 01/27/25 - Sunday 02/02/25)
I welcome anyone to commit to a goal here today.
But importantly, talk about getting it done..... or why it didn't happen yet.
To praise each other for our efforts and wins.
While supporting each other through trials and setbacks.
And to continue trying and not give up.
Remember:
Every Goal should be considered "Worthy".
Never belittle your achievements and be proud of yourself for your daily accomplishments!
Whether they be Complex or Simple.
Getting out of bed is a good day..... Good job I say!
Share your goals today, for support and encouragement.

Do Your Best and Get Your rest.
Things are usually much harder then we think. Do your best. Be kind to yourself and Be kind to others.

January 2025 is on it's way out.... One week at a time.... These are good things I did.
GOOD REFLECTION
Week 1 of 2025 - Transitioned 2024 goals t0 2025 goals. I got a good start this week because all my financial paperwork and core balance chores were managed efficiently.
Week 2 0f 2025 - I moved stored items (Big & Numerous) from temporary, badly failing tents to a permanent storage area. I also installed a permanent power source to the storage and workshop area.
Week 3 of 2025 - With the difficulty of heavy snows and harsh weather, I was blessed with the advice of how to start my heavy diesel equipment without destroying it. With this information and a borrowed heater, I was able to get my equipment running and actually go to a paying job for the first time in a couple months.
Week 4 of 2025 - This week’s big win was my good fortune to find good jobs for 2-3 weeks. Maintaining physical therapies and core balance was successful.
Weeks 1 - 4, 2025 Summary: Core balance and financial paperwork maintained. New storage facility utilized, with the addition of electricity added to that area. Learned how to maintain equipment through harsh winter conditions. Completed first “paying job” of the year. Continued family contact. Got more jobs lined up. Stayed diligent with physical therapy. Helped neighbors and friends through cold weather problems, (Frozen pipes and vehicles not starting) Made it through a very harsh couple of weeks of cold with no serious consequences.
@IsayUncle
Way to go!
@mytwistedsoul
Thank You!
It feels good to reflect and re-read the words of progress.
It seems progress always gets lost under the tsunami of new or ongoing hardships. It's important to remind ourselves, especially if one does not have a stong support structure for positive reinforcement.
Any good progress on your end this year? 😀 or 😬.....
@IsayUncle Omgosh yes that does seem to happen a lot. Life seems to take it as a challenge... " how can I rain on your parade today?" You're doing really great though Uncle. Don't let those doubts fool you!
@mytwistedsoul
Yea, for sure about the weather.... that hard cold and snow just shuts down any pesonal plans or progress... for me anyway🙄.
Cool on nthe hay rack! That kind of project is nice 'cause it's fairly permanent and you don't have to come back and do it again.
I remember when you had so much going on with your father's estate... OMG.... It was horrible. It's really awesome to see it piercing down do nothing. Yippity Skippity! FINALLY - Great!
2025 - no more estate jive. 🥳😂
Have a good night.
First I have to get caught up on my daily tasks since I had Friday off for a doctor visit. Then I need to write my paper for the 6th assignment. Got an article about ethics that I'll read after I get caught up with work.
Got my 6th assignment submitted. The professor was impressed with the previous assignment. Just one left for the course. It's a paper and presentation again.
Now I'm doing one of the required training things for work since I have some free time.
@Enthenia Congratulations! You're moving right along with things! That must have been really nice to hear from the professor!
@mytwistedsoul thanks! I tend to do well on written assignments. Going to try and work on the paper for the last assignment today.
It's also nice to feel like I am actually doing things correctly since my only other place of feedback is work ..
Like earlier today. I was asked about a report and I said I had forgotten why I ran it and my co-worker said that I had put "xx xxxx." and I replied that we were told in a meeting to put that on all the reports for the sake of consistency. I went and verified with the supervisor who said it and confirmed it.
But when my co-worker asked, he gave her a different answer. So I'm wrong. Again . If you're going to allow exceptions, don't say in a meeting "all you need to put is xx xxx" or if you're going to do exceptions, list them at the beginning, not three to four months later. And what's the point in having a standardized phrase if there are going to be deviations?
But I don't have a title therefore I know nothing.
@Enthenia That's ridiculous. You know very well what you're doing and you seem very detail oriented. The fact that a supervisor is being inconsistent in answering questions from two employees is just so wrong! Does this happen often? Perhaps next time you and whatever coworker could ask the supervisor together? That way the answer would be heard by both of you. I'm really glad you're getting some good positive feedback from your professors 😊
@mytwistedsoul it happens quite frequently. The other girl was working from home so asking together wasn't an option. I think I'm one of the few people that always comes into the office. Some of my coworkers I haven't actually seen in over a year
In other news, the application that allows me to split my rent became available again so I reinstated my account. It really helps with managing other expenses. I was able to order my replacement lamp since I don't have to pay my full rent balance on the 1st (you pay a portion and the service covers the remaining balance then you pay them back later in the month) and I have the paper part of my final assignment written. Once I get caught up with work, I'll start on the presentation part.
@IsayUncle
I don't have a lot of time this month, so I've been rather quiet, but I just want to wish everyone well as we wrap up the month. Thank you for being here and the faithfulness you and others are for being here each week or most weeks being accountable and working so diligently on goals and being motivated.
I appreciate being able to check in as able. I'm trying to wrap up the rest of the end of the year activities this week and next for work and hopefully that won't take more than that. It just requires digging in some big hours.
Hold tight everyone, and remember how much you are cared about. You are amazing, just being here and making the intentions of these goals and trying to stay on track - it's hard work with everything that life directs us with. Give yourself kudos (as will I).
See you later and be blessed.
@KristenHR Good luck with wrapping things up! And thank you for sharing encouragement with everyone!
@mytwistedsoul
Thank you.
Today can be a Very good pivotal day for me. Or a crap day that keeps me struggling into next week.
If I finish all my paperwork it will be a pivotal good day.
If I get distracted by my menial chores and tasks and I do not finish my paperwork, it'll turn into a crap day.
If I can balance both these directions to completion, that would be so awesome.
Menial chore 1 - Make bean tortillas. Paperwork task 1 - Sort paperwork to starting point.
3:10am --> GO
4:26am Bean tortillas are ongoing to schedule. Paperwork sorted to schedule. Other little tasks done.
Personal Chores 2 - None for one hour. Paperwork Task 2 - Sort and log receipts for one hour (+)
4:32am --> GO
