what are you thankful for? check-in (01/31/24)
hello everyone, chyni here!
i do hope that everyone is doing great! with the first month of the new year coming to an end for some, i’d love to start the new month on a positive note 🫶🏽❤️ so, i’m inviting everyone for a quick check-in to:
- make a list of three achievements you’ve accomplished so far this year, whether big or not so big,
- name three things that you are thankful for 🫶🏽
@chyni
i'll go first
- make a list of three achievements you’ve accomplished so far this year
— i've started my journey of introducing to my body new foods as well as preparing everyday meals differently
— i’ve added new plants to my collection and re-potted those that needed to be re-potted
— i’m taking my iron meds more frequently in the hope of keeping my iron levels up
- name three things that you are thankful for 🫶🏽 three things that i’m thankful for would be: my immediate family (mom especially 💕) and close friends, my sanity, LIFE! bonus, i’m thankful that i’m able to breathe, and do things for myself 🫶🏽
@chyni
my accomplishments:
- i raised my work hours from 5 to 6
- i´m returning to journaling slowly and i even set up new monthly habit tracker spread for february after like a year of neglecting to do so
- I stood up for my relationship when i felt like it was threatened that i am sure younger me couldn´t do
- I´m reintroducing eating rolls with butter to my diet, at least as a tiny treat from time to time. Last time i did this, i was in kindergarten. Also, battling my fear foods
I´m grateful for:
- my boyfriend
- my family
- my friends
- my job
- my bed
- cats
- tea
- meds
- the long way i came to be who I am today
@sadcat13
thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to participate 🫶🏽 i appreciate you.
also, i want to say congratulations on your accomplishments, no matter how small they may seem they are a big deal, and i’m proud of you for tackling challenges you wouldn’t normally do.
journaling is a very good habit as it helps with so many things. i am too starting to get into the habit of journaling. ❤️ wishing you the best of luck with your other achievements!
