Welcome to our first course in the Leadership Development Program! I am very excited to get this going! Please find the course description below!
Course Description: You have personal gifts and strengths that can help you in life and also help other people. Identifying, amplifying, and deliberately building those strengths enables you to have a better personal life, professional life, and also enables you to more effectively serve others in our community. People sometimes make the mistake of focusing too much on their weaknesses. This can help, but deliberately building your strengths will get you much further in life and in your career. This course provides links to personality testing (MBTI, Big 5) where you can learn to identify your personality style and strengths. It helps you understand how to match your strengths to roles in the 7 Cups community and enables you to find a career path that will be fulfilling. Join other new leaders in individual and group learning exercises.
Activity: Please introduce yourself and let us (if comfortable) know where you are from and a recent book or movie you have enjoyed!
Please also reply to 3 of your peers in this thread with encouraging or supportive words!

Hiiiii everyone!
Thank you for this warm welcome and support to newbie, hoping to become a good leader.
My name is Sandhya. I recently finished my 7cups internship and found this amazing community development program to join.
I'm just starting out as an adult, 21 years old girl. I'm in my last year of Psychology graduation. And I'm really lucky to get the opportunity to be a part of this programme!
I recently finished reading Perfect by Cecelia Ahern and I'm looking forward to reading the next part in the series. I'm a bibliophile too so books everywhere for me.
I also love watching tv shows, I'm currently binge watching Good girls (wow).
Super excited to be involved in this!
@BookChunky ooh it's cool that 7cups has an internship program! Congrats on finishing it, I may look into that myself :)

@Heather225
Hello friends!
Myself Grace Green. I'm from India. I'm happy to join in the leadership development program here, in 7 cups. I'm very excited to do the course. So far, I'm having a wonderful time here and I'm proud to be a part of this community. To tell about myself, I'm a Psychology student and my greatest aim is to be a Psychologist. I'm in love with Psychology and I am exploring more. My hobbies are reading, writing, singing, playing badminton. Books are my favorite choice. The last book I've enjoyed reading was 'Man's Search for Meaning' by Victor Frankl, the existentialist Psychologist. I believe in existentialism and I believe every soul has a purpose and we live to make meaning.I am in the process of fulfilling the purpose of my life. I'm glad to be here with you all.
With love,
Grace Green 💚
@Milagracegreen
Hiii Green,
I'm a psychology student too, want to become a clinical psychologist and and I'm from india too haha.
What do love most about this subject? And what kind of psychology do you wanna pursue?

Hi everyone. I am Moon from India 🇮🇳.
I have been on 7cups since 8 months now. I was on a break since a couple of weeks. I joined back when I got the email that I have been selected for the Leadership Development Program. I am so excited for it.
I don't like watching movies that much. My favourite book is The Secret by Rhonda Byrne.
@wonderousMoon5570 Hello
Hello everyone!
I'm Norah, and I'm a 17 year old girl from India.
A book I read recently was The Kite Runner by Khalid Hosseini. I had heard a lot about this book before and was so excited to read it. This book exceeded all my expectations, and I would gladly recommend it to anyone.
I am so excited to join this course and learn loads!
@NorahListens Hello
Hello everyone, hello Covid,
I am Viet Anh, currently known as Eddie, a listener who would be very productive when I am active and will take very long breaks when I have to take time to deal with my depressive episodes.
I am deeply indebted by 7cups for improving my life in a way unimaginable. As always, I want to pay it forward.
And that is why I am here, to be a part of something bigger,
Love,
Eddie.

Are we supposed to write the feedback that's asked for in the task list here? Like what I learned in the LSR and whatnot?
