Out of The Corner/In The World
Hi! Some of you might know of my other space here, In the corner. Or just, "the corner" in my head. This is the world! I.e this is me learning to "adult" (what?), get out of my comfort zone, accept my flaws, seek the positives in life, etc etc! My journey out of the comfort zone, basically. And it's going to be rocky, it's going to be real hard, and I'm going to end up in the corner venting about something more times than not, probably, but it's a step, I think.
Let's get out of the corner! (That was kinda cheesy!)
Figures now that dads here sis is unwell. Theres something both of us always say about her- she never has time to get sick. Its true. What with my immunity (or lack thereof) and moms migraines (and added dramatics), well, sick or not, shes always been stronger than us. Someones got to keep things moving. You cant expect that someone to be mom, the actual adult around. Nah, its always been sis. Pisses me off sometimes. I snap at her like an idiot. Why wont she rebel? Why wont she fight the unfairness? Blind obedience. Makes me feel weird, though im ever grateful for her help. And wow, does she help. Its been half an hour since she admitted to having a horrid stomach ache, and i tell you my parents have run me ragged. "Cant find the right medicine." "How do you turn the stupid TV off?" "Will that (urdu swears) music turn off already?!" (Theres a marraige hall nearby. Not fun) "Where are my shoes? I left my shoes. Get my shoes!" "Somethings wrong with the car. Theres a noise- listen- theres a noise-" "Where do you keep the MEDICINE?!"
And they tell me id make a lousy adult. Yeesh. But atleast dad was here. What would i have done with mom alone?

Thats yeah. Thats why my sis doesnt get sick.
It sure as f*** doesn't sound like The Brady Bunch... 😒
