With the tragic loss of the feed and after much debate and discussion. It's been decided to create a new thread. Soul space so to speak. A journal of sorts.
A place where I can dump some of the nonsense that goes on in my head.
While replies are welcome - they aren't necessary.
got these secrets creeping through my head
things I never say out loud
my tongue bleeds crimson red
sliced open by the thorns
of things I said before
I'd like to be my friend
but these resolutions
make me my own worst enemy after all
the promises I keep
in the hours before sleep
mean nothing
cause I'll break them in the morning
the promises I break are keeping me awake
@mytwistedsoul A little spring! That was more than I could have ever dreamt of! I saw so many wonderfully gorgeous things that I've never seen before and I tried to pick a favourite but it is impossible! Thank you for taking the trouble to share. Seeing it was like getting cuddled by nature. I'm in search of words and teary-eyed.
@intelligentWheel627 Hey you :) it was no trouble at all. It makes me happy to know you enjoyed them. I can't pick a favorite either because they're all so beautiful. There's new ones to bloom yet. Plus the iris's are starting to bloom too. I'll share some of those too :)

@mytwistedsoul- oh my - LOVE your horse photos. The one leaning its head on the post looks a bit like Louie (RIP) or my current geldings- Gus and Duke. Both are chestnuts with a blaze. Thank you for this fantastic post. And your sayings are off the chart. Hugs from the boys.

Ah the smell of bearded irises remind me of my childhood. along with lilacs and old fashioned roses.

@FlourishingDimensions They are :) all of the petunias were grown from seeds taken from last year's plants. The sweet pea grows wild in some places :)
@mytwistedsoul All of your flowers are just gorgeous! That was a really cool share. That red one REALLY caught my eye. It looked like a type of lily?
@mytwistedsoul- love seeing your garden. Makes me nostalgic for when I had a beautiful garden/yard. Now it has reverted back to nature and invasive species. Easier to take care of by far- but I miss the colors. Thank you for sharing.
@barncat I'm glad you liked them :) it is alot of work but I think just having it natural is cool too - not the invasive stuff though. There's a bunch of different nasty things here to battle. Creeper and mile a minute and my favorite poison ivy! And the tree of heaven which the lantern flies like
Maybe you could just do a small barrel of flowers? Less work but still get some color
@mytwistedsoul- my neighbors have lots of flowers- so I can enjoy them without the work. THe nemesis of my yard is ajuga that my dear artist friend gave to me years ago.. It has taken over the yard. Quite lovely when it blooms in the spring though.
