I made my husband's birthday amazing for him...even though we are going through some tough times.

@Carlene - Good for you! It's not easy to set the rest aside and do something special for someone, but I'm sure it meant a ton to him that you did. You sound like a really loving and special person.

I actually got dressed in something other than pajamas today. I even went on two short walks outside.

Simple as these tasks are for most, it's quite an achievement for me lately.

I hope to keep this up come tomorrow.

@RastaFlower - Great job! Achievements are a personal thing, and sometimes getting dressed and going for a short walk is a monumental thing, so good for you for doing it! Hope today goes well, too! <3

My goal is to conquer my anxiety and rid it of my life for good. I am now 5 months off of any anxiety or depression medication. I was on Prozac for almost 2 years and one day woke up and said no this is enough. I will not live in fear or my diagnosis it will live in fear of me. I am fighting every day but need some tips on stress relief and self calming techniques if you have them.

@CelestiaCestydos - I'm impressed by your progress in managing your anxiety - good for you! In terms of stress reduction, I think slightly different things work for each person, but some that I hear of a lot are things like meditation/mindfulness, yoga, going for walks, coloring or doing other art, listening to music, etc. - genreally finding things that let you refocus your thoughts onto something soothing can be really helpful. Good luck!

I am really impressed with myself for being more consistent than usually. I often tend to drop things fast, but this time I am sticking to my goals and slowly harnessing good habits, so far I have been doing good only for a week, but considering that I usually drop things and turn away from my goals much faster, I am really impressed that I am not quitting.

So, my boyfriend had wanted me to go along on this camping a month before it was time to go. We met off of a dating website but have been together for 2 months. (61 whole days!!!) lol. Anyway.. he told his family about me & it turns out they wanted to meet me!!!! Me & my boyfriend have hung out 2 other previous times before all of this. Fast forward... his Dad calls me on the phone explaining to me how he'd love to meet me!!! That made me nervous. I had a convo with my mom and she totally encouraged me to follow my heart!!! I took this advice even though i didn't want to! I wanted to spend time with my boo!! So that's my achievement..i stepped out of my comfort zone for the first time and i don't regret it at all!!!
