It's been a long, hard road. I've left a lot unfinished, and haven't been able to nurture all my relationships. But I'm currently moving across country to go to medical school. I hope chasing the dream will be the right decision. Because right now it seems very difficult and heartbreaking in a lot of ways.

@FearlessFearsomeFearfulFierce - I'm really proud of you for chasing your dreams, even when it's hard and scary. Your hard work is going to pay off for you and you will always know that you have done what you can to get what you want. Good for you!

Managed to shut down my depressed self-esteem and apply for a job which seems too good to be mine. Today is first in my life job interview. I'm excited, but a bit nervous.

@quaintsky I've been there numerous times and know how disappointing it is regardless of its a learning experience or not, I applaud you and proud of you. You know what, you did your part, you put your efforts forth and that's all you can do, the rest is not your responsibility. If it goes down in flames, you had nothing to do with it because you tried. If they missed out on a good employee, then the person picking, didn't do their job well and will get in troublefoe it eventually. It might even be of benefit to you that you didn't get it, there are some workplaces that are toxic or just not well suited for you, e.g. the co workers tend to go out for lunch every day when you don't have the money. :( Or maybe very outgoing people and that might not be you, and you won't know until you work there or you have to work in a basement and can't stand being withoutl sunlight. Maybe God is saving you from disaster. So the ones you don't get is good and the one you do get is also good. It's a win win. Hopefully you find a job soon, I know the word runs on money. Enjoy the flexibility in your schedule, that's the first thing people start to complain about when they start working.

@reservedexcitment

Thank you really much. Sorry for not replying so long – it is somehow difficult to answer to so nice, clever and compassionate messages. blush But now I can say – you were right, all that happens, happens for good. Some problems in my life have been resolved in an unexpected, but lucky way… and for the next few months I will be really busy even without a job.

Good luck and untoxic work places to you. smiley
