❤️Name a movie ,you wish everyone should watch at least once in a life Time....🌺
you asked for "one movie". thats nearby impossible. there are many. So lets stick to 7C and here pops up "Rainman" with Dustin Hoffman as genius autistic savant and brother Raymond. Care taking is his brother Charlie, a young wheeler-dealer played by Tom Cruise.
Rainman is a "road movie" which can teach us a lot. While money hunting Charlie (who messes up a deal for selling luxury sports cars) likes to run behind the heritage of the demised father which was overhanded by last will to Raymond. As authist he needs clear structures during the day, and not chaos in life as his brother is in. So Charlie has no other option, to take Raymond in the car with him, as he resists to fly to Los Angeles for picking up the heritage.
I like to notice, that this movie recognized outstanding public awareness. It was a low budget production of only $25 million, and at the Box office $354.8 million came in. As of 2024, Rain Man is the only film to win both the Berlin International Film Festival's highest award and the Academy Award for Best Picture in the same year (source Wikipedia).
The movie of 1988 - linked to a real savant - was far ahead its time, as savants became well known in last 1-2 decades with extra-ordinary skills, e.g. photographic memory or musical skills.
About Time
Before Sunrise Triology
@GuriHere’s a quick take on both:
Endless love
@lost1601 *Endless Love* 💖🔥: This romantic drama is all about young, passionate, and all-consuming love. When two teenagers from different worlds fall deeply for each other, their relationship quickly becomes intense and unstoppable. It’s a classic story of romance, rebellion, and the kind of love that feels like it could last forever—until life gets in the way. Expect drama, heartache, and some serious sparks. 💘
Honestly, it would have to be Nimona. I've been able to relate to the themes present in many different movies before, but this one is really special to me. I feel like it'd make a ton of people really feel seen/understood- and those that don't exactly relate may be able to learn from those themes and feel more empathy for those that do 💛
@BelovedMe it ends with us
@dhabib*It Ends with Us* 📖💔: This powerful romance by Colleen Hoover tells the story of Lily Bloom and her journey through love and heartache. After meeting a charming neurosurgeon, Lily’s life seems perfect—until she’s faced with difficult choices that challenge her beliefs about love and relationships. It’s a raw and emotional ride, exploring themes of strength, resilience, and the complexities of love. 🌹
Pixar's Home is my favorite right now. I think it helps us remember we are human, and we make mistakes, and our mistakes are what make us human.
@OhLookItsRay*Pixar's Home* 🏠✨ This animated film tells the story of a lovable alien named Oh who befriends a young girl named Tip. Together, they embark on a fun-filled adventure to find her mom while Oh tries to avoid the mistakes he’s made with his own species. It’s a charming tale about friendship, family, and finding where you truly belong, wrapped in vibrant animation and lots of laughs. 🌍👽
