What are your favorite video games and why?
Hello everybody!
My name is Andrew and I am a listener here on 7 Cups of Tea. I just found this forum section and thought it would be a great opportunity to start to get involved in conversation with other gamers.
So my question to you is: what are your favorite video games and why are they your favorite? They can be for any system, including the system in your response would be even more awesome! I personally game on my PS3 and my recently bought PS4.
Here is a list of some of the games I like to play:
Grand Theft Auto V - Though this game has violent aspects to it, I really love the online play. The constant competition is something that keeps me busy and the race for money and power keeps me intrigued. I really love the immense amount of customization and immersement that the game allows because I can truly enjoy role playing in that whole world. I recently started playing on PS4 which opened it up to so much more and I really do enjoy it.
Battlefield 3 - While this may be a bit outdated with the releases of Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1, I still really love this game. I still play on the PS3 so the servers are not always full but the maps and the gameplay are really fun. I love the teamwork that is in Battlefield as a whole and the actual tactic used as opposed to the wild play of other games like Call of Duty.
Fallout 4 - I have not actually played this game a ton yet but I enjoy what I've done so far. I played a bit with a friend on his system and liked the gameplay so I bought it when I got my PS4. I tried it with some of the mods but I am going to stick to normal, vanilla gameplay for now to just see how the game goes.
Counter Strike: Global Offensive - I actually play this game on PC but I don't have a great one so I don't get to play often. I find the playerbase hilarious and I think it is just a fun fps game.
Little Big Planet 2- This is the final one on the list, I have this game for PS3 and I have to say, I really enjoy playing the custom maps people do. They tend to put a lot of work and humor into it which just makes it a fun game to play in my spare time.
I am excited to hear from you all about your favorites!

Disco Elysium
This game is one of the best gaming experiences I've had. It's very tragic and it's brutal at times. It can be quite triggering for some I think. It's highly relatable to anyone who suffers from the condition that is life. It's not entirely a depression simulator though the humour in it is really good sometimes doing the ridiculous has hilarious outcomes.
I usually enjoy playing first person shooter games. So my favorite games would be call of duty black ops 2 and 3. I do play the newer versions of COD but these two will always hold a special place. I like the thrill and competitiveness of these games. You always strive to be the best, the top player and that makes it really fun. I do also like playing story mode games like Witcher and dishonored tho. I play on ps4.
I have so many ๐ณ
I love the mass effect games, assassins creed games, final fantasy games, dead space games, the Zelda games, dragon age games, fallout games, Skyrim and pretty much all of the Bethesda games, football manager and championship manager before that, civilisation, the witcher, all the wwe console games, all the telltale games, red dead redemption, borderlandsโฆIโm sure I have missed some ๐
I love gaming, it has been my stress relief for so long, I much prefer a amazing single player storyline than multiplayer ๐๐ป
Sorry didnโt mean to post this on your message ๐

retro games from the golden era of gaming aka the 80s and 90s. Better story writing, better music, love pixel art graphics and just harder more challenging games back then. Nintendo, super nintendo, sega genesis, gameboy, etc had the best games especially the JRPGs back then. I will extend my likes to the xbox original/playstation original era because their was some really good games during that era too. But todays flash in the pan 3D graphics games with no major story and lackluster appeal just doesn't do it for me in my opinion. That's why I subscribe to a few good YouTube creators who make some retro gaming videos to bring out the retro gamer in me.
Been really loving breath of the wild. There is something so soothing about it.
And I like playing League of Legends. Is anyone here playing this game? I heard that a lot of people don't like it very much, although I do. Moreover, it is interesting not only to play thoughtlessly, but also to develop in the game, finding out which characters are better to choose, the best Vi jungle path, strategies and so on. It makes the game even more interesting.
@rcnrlla
I love a good skill based game where you can improve over time :)
Used to play loooaaadsss of league!
I'd usually play Sona/kogmaw support or teemo/chogath top - not played it in years now though! Glad to see people still enjoy it! ๐๐ฆ
One of my favorite games is Rocket League. Football/soccer in toy cars. I made a Team 7cups car in Photoshop.
@Positron2
:0 this is awesome!! Thought there was a team 7cups then! I've really enjoyed playing it with my partner :D were - plat 3 and diamond 2 ๐๐ฆ
I've been a fan of Animal Crossing and remember watching my mom play it every morning on the wii when I was younger, and now I play myself :) I also love minecraft and the Danganronpa series (I love me some murder mystery) :)
I love open world games like Skyrim and Fall Out. Something about getting lost in side quests makes me happy. I also enjoy games like Harvest Moon and Graveyard Keeper. I enjoy getting to progress through the story line but still having plenty of other things to do. I like to play on many different consoles but would eventually like to move into PC gaming.
My gaming rosta right now is a bit wierd ๐๐
Lots of phasmophobia with some friends and then stardew valley to wind down again. But man my steam library is full of steam sale bargains that need a good dust off :)
