What are your favorite video games and why?
Hello everybody!
My name is Andrew and I am a listener here on 7 Cups of Tea. I just found this forum section and thought it would be a great opportunity to start to get involved in conversation with other gamers.
So my question to you is: what are your favorite video games and why are they your favorite? They can be for any system, including the system in your response would be even more awesome! I personally game on my PS3 and my recently bought PS4.
Here is a list of some of the games I like to play:
Grand Theft Auto V - Though this game has violent aspects to it, I really love the online play. The constant competition is something that keeps me busy and the race for money and power keeps me intrigued. I really love the immense amount of customization and immersement that the game allows because I can truly enjoy role playing in that whole world. I recently started playing on PS4 which opened it up to so much more and I really do enjoy it.
Battlefield 3 - While this may be a bit outdated with the releases of Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1, I still really love this game. I still play on the PS3 so the servers are not always full but the maps and the gameplay are really fun. I love the teamwork that is in Battlefield as a whole and the actual tactic used as opposed to the wild play of other games like Call of Duty.
Fallout 4 - I have not actually played this game a ton yet but I enjoy what I've done so far. I played a bit with a friend on his system and liked the gameplay so I bought it when I got my PS4. I tried it with some of the mods but I am going to stick to normal, vanilla gameplay for now to just see how the game goes.
Counter Strike: Global Offensive - I actually play this game on PC but I don't have a great one so I don't get to play often. I find the playerbase hilarious and I think it is just a fun fps game.
Little Big Planet 2- This is the final one on the list, I have this game for PS3 and I have to say, I really enjoy playing the custom maps people do. They tend to put a lot of work and humor into it which just makes it a fun game to play in my spare time.

Sega Rally and Virtua Fighters...
@CherryEarrings why? Sega Saturn is a rare console...engulfed by Sony...I earned it by working hard all summer then my mom told me I spend my time on vid games so I threw it out the window in front of her...happy, mum?! My work, my money out the window just because you are a jealous...jelly bean😊🤗
The entire Legend of Zelda series means a lot to me. It's hard to nail down all the reasons why, but one part is that no matter what iteration I try, it has a familiar fairy tale element to it.
Also specifically Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicals. I'm so excited they're remastering it for Switch!!
I really like rhythm games. Rhythm Heaven, Ongaku and Tadpole Treble are my favorites.
I also really liked Undertale. The story was really interesting, and the gameplay was cool. A lot of the music was really fun.
The Professor Layton games were a lot of fun too. The stories were always over the top, but they were still really fun. The puzzles were a lot of fun too. The music was amazing.
@BlueBetta My favourite video game is Civilization iv - Rhye and fall of civilizations, because i like to develop the ciivilizations and all the challenges there. :)
My favorite game series is Halo. I have a deep connection to it, and I think it is because Halo has a different sort of story to it than moat games I've played. Most games of its kind are about a hero who gets gradually stronger and fights the boss at the end. Halo isn't like that. Instrad it's about heroes with their backs against the wall trying to fight their way out and survive, despite overwhelming odds stacked against them. It's about never giving up, self sacrifice for the safety of others, and seeing things through till the very end. Finally when it's all over, you may find that you have turned yourself into something else - almost robotic, in order to do what needed to be done. How do you rekindle your flame of human nature again? Well, it tries to tackle that concept as well.
Used to be the strategy games till they messed them all up...about a strategy game what I like is tgat I can build a working world of my own...I did not want to completely eradicate my enemies becayse then I would not have any neighbours. I just liked to keep them in check once I defeated them just to have them around and see them develop too...
The last God of War was just amazing. And generally speaking, PS exclusive titles are great. Next generation of consoles comes up soon and I am looking forwards to download rpcs5 emulator and try out some games. I am pretty sure that I won't be disappointed. And speaking of classics, I still think that Serious Sam series is a masterpiece. You can't even imagine how much time I wasted playing the game.

My favourite video games are The Last of Us and Detroit: become human
I love these games because they have such a strong story line and you fall in love with the characters.
I want to play more games like these! They make me feel like I'm watching a movie with some interaction which I love

Pokemon, has been a bright light for me during very dark and unpredictable times in my life.
Rollercoaster Tycoon, ditto and it alongside planet coaster have been a huge help towards me conquering my fear of roller coasters and thrill rides.
Fallout series, fictional as it may be; it still feels so real as if it could truly happen in our future. Makes it that much more immersive and emotional.
Elder scrolls, again immersive.
Star Trek Online, love star trek and really enjoy getting to play as a Starfleet captain.
Decided to download mass effect andromeda today and already played for a few hours, want to say that it seems like the game will become my fav one as it realy impressed me from the very beginning. Maybe my opinion will be changed but for now I enjoy it a lot.

I love elder scrolls games because of the medieval fantasy and lore and I enjoy messing around on creation kit for skyrim and making my own mods.
I love Ark Survival Evolved. Sims 2,3,4. PUBG, Rainbox Six single player lol, Factorio, Conan Exiles, Killing floor, Prison Architect.
