What are your favorite video games and why?
Hello everybody!
My name is Andrew and I am a listener here on 7 Cups of Tea. I just found this forum section and thought it would be a great opportunity to start to get involved in conversation with other gamers.
So my question to you is: what are your favorite video games and why are they your favorite? They can be for any system, including the system in your response would be even more awesome! I personally game on my PS3 and my recently bought PS4.
Here is a list of some of the games I like to play:
Grand Theft Auto V - Though this game has violent aspects to it, I really love the online play. The constant competition is something that keeps me busy and the race for money and power keeps me intrigued. I really love the immense amount of customization and immersement that the game allows because I can truly enjoy role playing in that whole world. I recently started playing on PS4 which opened it up to so much more and I really do enjoy it.
Battlefield 3 - While this may be a bit outdated with the releases of Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1, I still really love this game. I still play on the PS3 so the servers are not always full but the maps and the gameplay are really fun. I love the teamwork that is in Battlefield as a whole and the actual tactic used as opposed to the wild play of other games like Call of Duty.
Fallout 4 - I have not actually played this game a ton yet but I enjoy what I've done so far. I played a bit with a friend on his system and liked the gameplay so I bought it when I got my PS4. I tried it with some of the mods but I am going to stick to normal, vanilla gameplay for now to just see how the game goes.
Counter Strike: Global Offensive - I actually play this game on PC but I don't have a great one so I don't get to play often. I find the playerbase hilarious and I think it is just a fun fps game.
Little Big Planet 2- This is the final one on the list, I have this game for PS3 and I have to say, I really enjoy playing the custom maps people do. They tend to put a lot of work and humor into it which just makes it a fun game to play in my spare time.

The Legend of Zelda Botw(its expansive & freedom to roam the world), Uncharted series (I like the story and adventure), Sengoku Basara (since its multiplayer), MGSV.

Nearly forgot to add FFXV & the Pocket Edition for mobile.
I know this thread is old. But my favorite is Final Fantasy 9. It was my first FF game and my first video game ever. It was the game that gave me the sense of adventure and how no matter what, you're not alone with your struggles... I played it when I was little. But I didnt beat it till I was 18 and had the money to buy it. It made me tear up because it was like closing a chapter in my life...
Fallout 4, although I like using building mods and can spend hours creating towns.
All the Dishonored games. It's my ultimate favourite game. From the gameplay, to the re-playability, to the amazing visuals, it's just a beautiful game and I've played it so many times now.
Ark. I've only experienced single player (saving for a gaming PC as I'm on ps4 at the moment) but it's great fun.
Pokémon, no matter the generation, it has been there for me during periods of uncertainty in my life as well as dark times in my life when no one and nothing else was.
Fallout 3/New Vegas, the world in those games feels so real and immersive and every time I play it triggers a lot of emotions. Good stress relief too
Horizon Zero Dawn, simply because of its uniqueness.
Zelda, especially the 3D ones. Love the world, being the hero.
Sly Cooper, a good lesson that not everything is black and white
Skyrim, beautiful world and cant help but get emotional
Mario Kart, the main game I got to enjoy with friends years ago
Rocket League, never gets old and wish I was enjoying it with friends
Rollercoaster Tycoon, pretty much grew up on it and was always the distraction on weekends and after school
Metroid(any) fun and incredibly scary
Donkey Kong 64, brings back memories of a better time in my life.
I love TF2! I used to make a lot of friends on the community servers but now the servers arent there any more. Only valve servers are available but they arent the same :(

Same, lovely game but there is aimbots on valve servers where i am so i have to stick to community servers
hmm... ive played many, but i love undertale, deltarune, doki doki literature clun, BATIM, etc.

My favorite games, which are for the xbox 1, are:
Forza Horizon 3: There is nothing like ripping through the streets of Byron Bay or through the towering city of Surfers Paradise in an all wheel drive, 2010 Subaru Impreza!
BattleField 4: me and my friends get both tactical and competative in this FPS, working together while competing to get the highest K/D ratio!
and last but not least, Red Dead Redemption 2! i love horses, and the older timed weaponry! this game is absolutely beautiful with its visual surroundings of the wild, whether its in the snowwy mountains, the thick forests, or the wide open Great Plains!
My favorite game is Mortal Kombat...
I love fighting games in general. But MK stands out because of graphics, moveset and finishing opponents.
It's a great stress buster.
Overwatch - it's super fun and I get competitive
Slime Rancher - literally the cutest game ever
Skyrim - I'm an assassin. I'm amazing
Sims - Just addictive in general
Stardew Valley - Love pixel graphics and it's so cute and calming to play
Oxenfree - Bro if you havent played this game you need to it's the perfect amount of creepy and curiosity inducing it's amazing
Rime - Love me some puzzle adventure games also beautiful story like and graphics
Night In The Woods - Favorite game of all time (watched playthrough and it was amazing)
The Last Guardian - Made me cry like a baby because Triiiccoooo ❤❤
I have soooo many more but those were the ones off the top of my head 😁
video games are my only escape most days and i dont know i id even still be here without them as a distraction
rdr2 - no surprise since thats where my username is from

recently just got into dmc5! and finished re2make
i like to play acnl to help w anxiety. and also league although the toxicity of that community sometimes makes it worse :/
