Hello there! 🩷

I am @SomebodySpicy13, but you can simply call me spicy! I am a forum and room supporter here in the Hobby Zone. I have been a listener for around 1 month now and really enjoy my time here at cups

My favourite hobbies include colouring, crochet, reading, punch needling, and latch hook rug making. I am self taught in crochet since November 2022 but I have since made many blankets, amigurumi (toys) and even a cardigan!

Some of my other favourite hobbies include taking walks in nature, baking, caring for pets/animals (see my butterfly rearing thread here!) and collecting pop vinyls

One hobby I'd like to try is beekeeping. I think it would be so rewarding to have and look after bees and you may even get rewarded with honey! 🍯

@SomebodySpicy13 it is really great to have you on the team! I love those pictures! Your work is so pretty and the bee!

We have wild bees that swarm into our crabapple tree every spring and summer, they seem to feed on the blossom and then later on the apples themselves! The noise is amazing and they are so busy they don't seem to notice me watching.
i am looking forwards to the Hobby Zone room being open on Sundays, thanks for doing that.

We have a few little bee hives around the garden its so lovely to watch them when they are busy at work in the summer.

Amigurumi yes. :) I'm working on a new one today in fact, and found a pattern on Etsy I would very much like to get or try to recreate. I don't know what's more fun making up my own patterns using what I've learned or finding cute patterns to try.

Hey Spicy13, your work is awesome, and thank you for sharing. You mentioned beekeeping, well our church wall is full of honey bees, and I wish I could send them all to you😂. Since I can't, I guess I'll just have to keep dealing with them as it is illegal to kill them. They do sting you know?😊.

I just love anything creative, they call me the Jack of all Trades but I am the Master of none of them😂

Hi! Thankyou for thinking so, I very much enjoy being crafty (not in the mischievous way 😜)

The wall full of honeybees sounds inconvenient but also lovely, as you say they do sting and it can hurt
