Thanks for bringing up such an important topic! I think we can all relate to the struggles of balancing screen time with our daily lives.

For me, one big challenge is feeling like I’m missing out on connections when I step away from social media. It’s hard to disconnect when social media is such a big part of staying connected.

Regarding social media’s impact on mental health, I’ve definitely felt the pressure of comparing myself to others. Sometimes it feels like everyone else is living this perfect life and that can be really discouraging. So I try to remind myself that what we see online isn’t the whole story but it’s easier said than done.

  • What are the challenges you face in limiting screen time and maintaining healthy social media habits? the fact that i am trying to turn doing social media into an income, thus having to be on social media actively.
  • What are your thoughts on the impact of social media on mental health and well-being? i find that social media does more harm than good at this point. too much information, misinformation, junk content that, as teens call is, is "brainrotting", which causes people to chase after the quick dose of dopamine instead of chasing the slower dose, that comes with time. it also causes a shorter attention span and issues with concentration and long-term memory.
