What are you doing to utilize your time during lockdown/ self-isolation?
I know it isn't an easy time for anyone and all feeling stressed and challenged. But to stay safe, this is only option available to all of us right now.
So, What are you doing to utilize your time during lockdown/ self-isolation?
I quit.
I'm going out
You can't quit the consequences of a pandemic @sensibleStrawberries9877
@sensibleStrawberries9877- I know how you feel- we humans are social creatures and being told to avoid people is the most challenging thing I have ever faced. Please stay safe- our actions literally touch everyone near us. I just finally realized that fact last night. Slow learner.
Spending time with my family and dogs
Haha what quarentine time? I still have to work 😒
I still have to work to and just have been sleeping a lot more
I've been getting back on track with exercising again after a while and also have more free time to spend on 7 Cups. Also keeping track with schoolwork and prepare for finals!
Getting back into gouache paintings because I have the time doing university classes remotely!
This situation makes me feel extremely stressed but I'm triying to take care of myself. I was learning to play the piano, I also focused on learning French and German. I am making simple music for fun. I am playing video games and watching new series, learning recipes, drawing, reading, writing fantasy stories, sleeping a lot, etc. I would like not to go back to school to continue avoiding the anxiety, dissatisfaction and fatigue that it causes me, but that will not happen.
I have been writing more on my book, following up online classes, and doing assignments.
I have been studying, reading, watching documentaries and just educating myself in general. Making the most of this time<3
@lovethroughempathy
Whatcha studying for? Doing my CISSP myself. The bloody text book is just shy of 1000 pages of densly packed minutae... it's a slog =)
@lovethroughempathy same. I see this as an opportunity to read, watch documentaries and learning coz I can't get this on normal days with constant interruptions or working.
I've been cooking like a fiend. I don't have to, I just like to. So far:
Chicken & Black bean tacos on corn tortillas
Pineapple-coconut-pecan bread with vanilla and nutmeg
Wild mushroom risotto
Tomato soup (the most amazing recipe from Jamie Oliver.. the key is boiling the tomato vine in the soup. Thats where all the aromatics are, smell a tomato vine next time you see one!).
Spanish Frittata (an egg and potato pie without a crust)
And tonight will be pork chops... I am working on orange-honey glaze with some lavender. Not sure how this will turn out, but we will see \_(ツ)_/
