Hello everyone,

I hope you are doing well. This post is part of the  Group Support Event- Reflection Week with 7 Cups.

This discussion is intended to explore gratitude and reflect on the positive aspects of our life experiences.

As I reflect on my life lately, I am super grateful for the wonderful people I have met. The people I met inspired, encouraged, and influenced me in various ways and impacted my life and experiences immensely. Everyone offered me opportunities to learn and grow individually and as a community.

What about you? What are you most grateful for about your journey so far? Here are some pointers that may help you share your reflections.

  • Have you overcome any significant challenges? How have these challenges shaped you?
  • Who are the people you are most grateful for in your life? How have these relationships enriched your journey?
  • What are some of the most memorable experiences you have had? What lessons did you learn from these experiences?
  • What opportunities are you grateful for having received? How have these opportunities impacted your life?
  • What are the most important lessons you have learned along the way? How have these lessons shaped your perspective and your actions?

Let's join us and share your reflections on growth, resilience, and appreciation.

@ASilentObserver

I am grateful that even when my masts were broken, my damaged rudder was putting me into a wrong course, and water was flooding through the hole in my board, I still had my compass working.

I am grateful to many people, mostly strangers: teachers, therapists, co-workers. Very grateful to my grandparents who, at some very crucial point of my life, were much better to me than my real parents.

It's been good to be here, through things bigger and small, better or worse.

@ASilentObserver

we grateful for even the suffering  we been through  as we believe anything God allow one to go through is for ones own good and to use to serve others by walking with them as they go through things you have or as they heal from them so to us we can be grateful for even bad things also we learned that to get through healing things you have  to face them and overcome them by walking through the pain and brokenness. healing a journey we grateful of that as if we had to do it all at one time it be impossible  everyday we see blessing some are very tiny others very big but we learn to be grateful for them all

we also after we move met a friend Catherine  she been a great blessing to us as she listens and also walks with us in our beliefs she also did not allow my mom to claim her as a friend as my mom  always did that with anyone we tried to be friends with in our life. so we grateful for Catherine  and her speaking out to our mom in this as she did not allow mom to cross boundaries  and has taught   us it ok to have them and personal space this was all new to us so grateful for new things we learned too

we grateful for our cat paw paws she helps us a lot  when we having bad anxiety  and she know when different  ones of us out too. she can read us all well and help us a lot

grateful for freedom from the daily abuse for first time in our life and being able to have peace and safety  them big things many take for grant we never will and they not our normal so learning to make into our normal

grateful  for many here at 7 cups and for 7 cups as it been place of support and place we been allowed to support others so  very grateful

@ASilentObserver

I am grateful for being alive on this earth. I am grateful for the body I have, how it looks and what it does.

I am grateful for 7 cups and the people I meet everyday. I am grateful for taking this as an opportunity to grow. I grateful for the many things that has happened in my life for it teaches me many lessons such as forgiveness, gratitude, patience. I am grateful for suffering now for it leads to happiness and joy in the future.

  • Have you overcome any significant challenges? How have these challenges shaped you?
    I was Born depressed, anxious, bipolar and abused to Borderline Personality Disorder Dad and narcissist Mom. I'm a disabled mess now. Had a career but cant work anymore.

  • Who are the people you are most grateful for in your life? How have these relationships enriched your journey?
  • What are some of the most memorable experiences you have had? What lessons did you learn from these experiences?

    Teachers and fellow students at school. I love being around people trying to be their best self.

    Best memory from univ is: Our UCONN soccer team won the NCAA national championship. We were in class and could hear the celebrations. Our Professor looked out the window and said
    "I don't know about you guys... but I would rather be out there. Class Dismissed!"

  • What opportunities are you grateful for having received? How have these opportunities impacted your life?

I am grateful that I am smart enough to figure a solution to almost any problem... eventually, maybe.

  • What are the most important lessons you have learned along the way? How have these lessons shaped your perspective and your actions?

    Have a goal and the patience to get there. Mental illness is a hard lifetime disease. It can't be solved in a few visits to a therapist or instant happy meds. Recovery takes years just to get to an ok place. Feeling you have a happy life takes even longer.

    Whenever I am at my worst I remember my vow that I want to be healthy for my family.
    For my 2 nieces and nephew, my brother and Mom.
    If it weren't for their love and support I wouldn't be here. I want to be here if they need my support.

I'm so grateful for my friends that I've made since last year. They make my days better and help me feel not so alone in the world. I've learned to appreciate their time and effort, and have learned how to reciprocate it so I can be there for them. I love who I am when I'm around them and wish them the best because they deserve it :)
