Interviews!

As I've posted about in other forums, I've had horrible luck with my job. It's a horrible, toxic, abusive environment.
Well, I've gotten an interview through an application and I've had two recruiters reach out to me to schedule interviews after seeing my resume on Indeed! If they, my current employer, doesn't do something soon, I should have other options and I'm super grateful for that!
Anything positive going on with y'all?

@witchybirdie
This is awesome news. Congrats, you must be thrilled.
I myself got a promotion at work that starts in about two weeks or so.
@Remina
Congratulations on your promotion! I hope it works out well for you!
And thanks! I'm super excited about the interviews and potential. I just can't take the owners telling me it'll change "next week" for over a month now.

@witchybirdie
I am glad that you will be exiting the toxic work environment! And thank you :D
@Remina
Me, too! It's such a relief that it's almost over. At least, I hope I get hired elsewhere.

@witchybirdie
Fingers crossed. Interviews will give you courage!

@Remina congratulations😁❤❤

@Tinywhisper11
Thank you!

Well... I got burnedout a few years ago and just wanted to go away from my work. As the employer wouldn't make any effort on make things either easier or better... I just delivered the letter and walked away.
Since then, I have been struggling not finding a job (under the banner of being over qualified or the wage being too short on the available spots).
I decided to change career and have being working along with courses and stuff. Hope that at least next year things to be, at least, starting to settle.
In sort of way, I stay tired and full of emotional triggers.
@eaterofwords85
I understand completely. I was burned out at my job, too, hence the job search. I couldn't take anymore of their treatment and lies about change, so I walked out yesterday. I couldn't do another day. I don't even have another job yet.
I'm hoping my interviews go well, and if not, I'll also be looking into a career change. What I do isn't very common in the area I live in now, so I'm trying to remain hopeful for these upcoming interviews, but I'm nervous.
I am also still tired and triggered, but I'm also at the start of being jobless, so I'm not exhausted. I'm still feeling relieved from quitting. So I'm thankful for that.
I wish you all the luck in your career change, and I hope things start to get better for you soon.

@witchybirdie
Good luck now more than ever!!!!

@witchybirdie I'm sorry about the toxic job. I've been through it. I'm glad you're looking to find something that's a better fit and healthier for you. That's an accomplishment right there!
I got my EBT which means I can get all the food I want. Some restaurants in my area take it too, so I can have a nice meal and get coffee in the morning.

I am so sorry to hear this! If you don’t mind me asking, what makes it a horrible toxic environment?
@kindShell9449
My boss regularly calls me names, including swear words, he has grabbed and shook me, he tells me that I am useless and don't matter, he blames me for his failings, tried to take away my lunch breaks (which isn't legal), among other things. Other employees have made queerphobia comments towards me and called me slurs. I've reported it to upper management and HR and they have done nothing.
I actually ended up quitting last week because I went to the VP about it and he told me that I was being "over emotional" and needed to "smile more", which I find completely unacceptable after almost a year of dealing with this behavior and the promise of, "it'll get better soon" when it has only gotten worse.
