I've learnt to only concern myself with the things inside my control.

Even if it impacts on me, all I can change is my reaction to it.

I finished part 4 of the anxiety series on 7cups and learned that there is a link between what we think, feel and do! I started to realize that the distorted thoughts I have in my head, create a lot of the anxiety and intense emotions that I feel! That was super cool! I did some of the exercises, and noticed how my emotions de-escalated when I allowed myself to look into possible "thinking mistakes" - like all or nothing, generalizing, thinking feelings were facts, mindreading, labeling, etc. It was very helpful! Thank you 7cups! I am eager to learn more and empower myself more!

@GlenM

Apparently I'm at 120 now.

What have I learned? That I am figuring out how to stand on my own two feet, and that I have no idea what I'm doing in life frownindecisionsurprise

I learned that turning away, stopping and coming back later, and not making eye contact are all things you shouldn't do when you're trying to have a hard conversation with someone! I thought (especially the stopping and coming back to it later) these were okay to do during hard conversations, that they communicated a feeling or struggle.
