This program is part of our academy! The 7 Cups Academy has had 1308 graduates and currently has 404 enrolled trainees Why choose 7 Cups Academy? * All of our programs are completely free * 1-1 mentor support to help you graduate * You choose your program duration and can seek extensions * Our programs focus on hands-on practical training * The programs offer training in sought-after professional skills * You will be provided with a certificate and a badge upon successful completion * You will train among a group of like-minded individuals who you can learn from * It is a great way to work towards a 7 Cups role. Here are some things that helped me get though it . 1 give your self enough time to do it. 2 choose a problem that you are passionate about. 3 There is no or right answers for this. 4 Write everything out or brainstorm everything, 5 Use your problem solving skills to come up with solution to problem. 6 Use the problem solving template when writing your project on word doc. 7 Contact a mentor when you need help with it . 8 Do not wait to turn your project in. ...See more 1 Get to know the program before you sign up so you know what to expect. 2 Sign up for hours that you know that you can keep. 3 If possible get the badges you need to graduate from gldd before you join since that came help make things less stressful for you, 4. Get a mentor and it’s ok to ask for help when you need it. 5 Plan each week out so you can stay on track. 6 What helped me is at start of each week take a note of where chats start and then figure what number I need to get to meet my weekly hours. For example my l room chats this week starts at 359 so I need to get that number to 365 to meet my weekly hours. 2 chats equals one hour. 7 Host something you like. 8 Try to be active in more than one room on your track. 9 forum work Make sure your answers are thoughtful apply what you learned in discussions to the rooms. 10 Get to know others . 11 Make sure you give you self enough time to get small project done, 12 Have fun 13 course work The program is not really really demanding so I think it a good start for any one that new to the Academy or looking for a program that is less work.

I'd like to share the following information about leadership roles that are available in Sharing Circle, in case you're looking for somewhere to direct your group support knowledge and energy! On-Spot Host On-Spot Host is the most flexible Sharing Circle role. Our On-Spot Hosts visit the room, and if there is no host on the schedule for that time they step in to host the session. As we now have 24 Sharing Circles a day there are plenty of opportunities to jump in and help out! This role is open to listeners and members who have attended at least 3 hosted Sharing Circles. The guideline time commitment for STLs is a couple of hours a week moderating your room plus some admin tasks, so although you will oversee a 6 hour daily time block you don't need to be available all the time during your block. Earlier I was doing a quick check-in with one of the group leader trainees @Ines1229 and I asked them, What is one thing we could to make the program better for everyone i.e. current trainees or anyone who is thinking to join the program. So, I am excited to announce that I will be answering any questions related to GLDD in this thread for those who have any questions regarding the program or want to know more about it. This is a sub-community for The Group Leadership and Dynamics Development. The program focuses on the communication and leadership behavior of individuals within group structures. The theoretical and practical knowledge are used to explore the stages of group development, decision-making techniques, group dynamics, group problem and solving, group leadership skills, cultural sensitivity, norms, and interpersonal dynamics within groups.
