Bio

I listen with a truly caring and compassion heart to those that seek a listener and those that want to be heard. Having been through emotional, physical, mental, psychological pain myself I actually do understand, care and empathize. LGBTQ+ ally. Safe,  Secure, Confidential, Accommodating, with respect for culture, customs, and traditions. Stronger together!

During our session, you will be heard in an empathetic way:

  • Listen
I try to listen without interrupting, and pay attention to chat language and other communication. I also try to reflect back what the member is saying to show that I am listening and understand.
  • Be understanding
I try to put aside my own viewpoint and see things from the member's  perspective. For example, one can try to understand people even when one may not agree with them.
  • Ask questions
I will ask the member question to learn more about them and their lives. I may ask "How can I help?" to show empathy and invite members to discuss their issues without fear of judgment.
  • Express empathy
I use phrases like "I'm sorry that you had to go through this" or "I appreciate your patience and cooperation" to show that I share or relate to the member's emotions.
  • Model empathy
I demonstrate empathy and understanding in my own behavior, actions, and decisions.
  • Show gratitude
I express gratitude in the member's perspective and assume positive intent because I truly care.

    Let'chat soon!

...See more The 1980s What a great time in world history in the 1980s. The 80s were an eclectic and revolutionary era for music as an art form. From pop, rock, heavy metal, hip-hop and electronic music, the sheer number of genres that have blossomed out of the 80s is a testament to the phenomenally talented and ingenious artists to come out of the decade. Furthermore, several of these artists have remained relevant throughout the following decades and have continued to make an impact on pop culture today. Can you say "Where's My MTV?" Whether it’s in TV, Film or contemporary music, the sound of the 80s can be heard resonating throughout the modern entertainment industry, and the adoration for this era is only growing with new generations as they rediscover music through social media and creative outlets like *** Who was your most favorite bands of the 80s? ...See more Mens-Health [https://www.premiermedicalhv.com/news/mens-health/]Celebrated each year during June, Men’s Health Month brings awareness to the health issues all men face. The month is dedicated to enriching men’s health, mental health and wellness through a broad spectrum of national screening and educational campaigns. 7Cups can help men too. Men’s Health Month is focused on raising awareness of preventable health problems and encouraging early detection and treatment of disease among men and boys. Did you know that men, on average, die almost five years earlier than women? Part of the reason is that men are more reluctant to go to the doctor, according to menshealthmonth.org. Here are some screening tests recommended for men age 40-65 as directed by a physician according to medlineplus.gov: • Blood pressure; • Colorectal Cancer; • Cholesteral Screening; • Dental Exams; • Diabetes mellitus, type2; • Eye Exams; • Immunizations; • Infectious Disease; • Lung cancer; • Osteoporosis; • Physical Exams; • Prostate Cancer; • Skin Exams; and • Testicular Exams. It’s important as a man to brush up on your health facts, listen to your body and be sure to get regular checkups. Even if you don’t feel sick, it is important to see your doctor regularly and schedule annual exams. Not only will you live longer, you’ll have a better quality of life. And check out resources on 7Cups.
