A ruler. Because then I could make the laws, enforce them properly & put my ideas for the best possible--& most long-lasting--society into practice. Most of the moves I'd make would be aimed at a 3,000-year span, for starters.

Well my religion does not have knights and that seems to be a lot of titles and speech of honor. But I would rather choose a general over an actual king.
