What is a word that just makes you...
It's not even a bad word. It's just a word that sounds icky, squicky, or like nails on the chalkboard of your mind.
For me it's flesh. 😬
🫵 Your turn!
@Heather225 The use of the word, ‘literally’ for emphasis when its literally not at all literal.
Making a statement but ending it with a question mark for verification?
I am literally guilty of both but it still annoys me?
@LifeShouldNotBeThisHard Yes on the first one. Or "hard agree" as the kids say. When did "literal" start to have the opposite meaning? 🤦🏼♂️ It's like looking at a blue sky & saying "wow, this is so crimson!"... Clear speaking was already a dying art. Then the Internet emerged in the 90's & inflicted a mortal blow. I don't want to know what American English will sound like 30 years from now.
Most slang just sounds cringey. It also doesn’t make any sense either lol

😂🤣
In 30 years I imagine it will be Skibidi BORG Ohio.
My daughter loves to say gelatinous while laughing and then watch me shudder! It’s the funniest thing to me
