What is a word that just makes you...

It's not even a bad word. It's just a word that sounds icky, squicky, or like nails on the chalkboard of your mind.

For me it's flesh. 😬

🫵 Your turn!

@Heather225 The use of the word, ‘literally’ for emphasis when its literally not at all literal.

Making a statement but ending it with a question mark for verification?

I am literally guilty of both but it still annoys me?

@LifeShouldNotBeThisHard Yes on the first one. Or "hard agree" as the kids say. When did "literal" start to have the opposite meaning? 🤦🏼‍♂️ It's like looking at a blue sky & saying "wow, this is so crimson!"... Clear speaking was already a dying art. Then the Internet emerged in the 90's & inflicted a mortal blow. I don't want to know what American English will sound like 30 years from now.

Most slang just sounds cringey. It also doesn’t make any sense either lol

My daughter loves to say gelatinous while laughing and then watch me shudder! It’s the funniest thing to me
