What Made You Smile Today?
Hmm, I saw someone helping someone else out, when they clearly were not obligated to and it was such a great thing to see! Little pieces of kindness are just super touching to see. : )
My younger brother always sings You Are My Sunshine to me when he knows I am upset. Today I was having a rough day and he just gave me a hug and started singing that song to me it made my day so much better.
What made me smile was makingmy enemy smile by giving them nothing butkindness today.
I smiled when a client of mine said she was feeling better!
I smiled at the rising sun this morning, I watched a very inspiring movie last night and have decided to return to an old series of books I used to love (the Hatchet books by Gary Paulson) because I think I need the distraction and the nostalgia. I smiled as I fell asleep last night because I had an awesome night with my ex. Cat fell asleep on my chest in her snuggler and we both couldn't stop smiling :)!
Listening to the soundtrack for into the woods. I'm a musical nerd.
Yesterday, I had a cat run in front of my car and killed it (this isnt what im happy about). I kept thinking how this could have been someones only friend. If it had have been a possum I wouldnt have felt as bad. Ok, the thing that made me smile, happened this morning right before I went in to work. Another member (@politecup86) responded to a thread that I had responded to and her comments made me smile, then brought tears to my eyes because it let me know that responses to others on this site may actually be helping others in some small way. Its people like politecup86 that make this such a great site.
Oh this is so sweet of you. I wish I can make u smile everyday. Well by this post u calmed my anxiety down. Good for you! I know how hard it is to lose that extra fat and I commend you on your decision! Here's a couple facts that may help you a little :)! The more you eat in the morning, the less you'll feel you'll feel hungry at night (when the body stores more fat). Exercise before you eat, this boosts your metabolism and helps move all the old food along before packing more down. Drink lots of water, hydration keeps your energy levels high, boosts the metabolism and aids in recovery. Avoid drinking too close to your meals, you want your stomach acid to be the right consistency to best break down your food. Eat slowly, this is a psychological trigger to feel full faster and by breaking down your chow more so before swallowing you make it easier to get the most nutrients out of it. I wish you all the best on your journey and I'm rooting for you! You're beautiful :)!
Oh thanks a million daddy. U r so kind. And thanks for the valuable information. I have to lose a lot. So it is going to be a long journey. Maybe two years long. But I can do it. Thanks again for caring and for calling me beautiful :) u r really kind
Today I smiled because all of everything that had to go wrong today on my time limit, like the unexpected traffic to work, Unexpected mess from last night's shift workers to clean up after....i could have gotten angry and upset like I normally would've but I just kept telling myself, "you cant help but laugh At the beauty of life" and I actually kept laughing! !!
Getting comments back from those I listened to saying I had given them hope and helped them to feel better :)
I had to smile and even do a little happy dance when I bought my ticket to go to the Excision dubstep concert!!!! Whooooooooo!!!!ππππππ²π²π²π²π²
