What is your disability?
Anyone who wants to share their disability can do so here, post your symptoms that trouble you most or your condition or both. It is up to you. I have Schizoaffective Disorder, OCD, Borderline Personality Traits- not the full disorder, Daily Chronic Headache & Short Term Memory Issues. It is severe & persistent, I was fully Diagnosed on September 6, 2016. I have been dealing with the issues since I was 14, self harm started age 13. Anyhow, If you want to share, feel free & take care!
I have fibromyalgia and depression. Either I sleep too much or not enough. It is very difficult because I am a wife and mother.

Hello there!
Sorry to hear that, must be hard.
You sure need a lost of energies so i hope you never forget about self care everytime you can!!

I have hereditary spastic paraplegia, adhd, social and generalized anxiety, and a few learning disabilities too.
I
I have Chronic Pain, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and POTS :D @VanessaGraceStory
I have Ehler Danlos Syndrome, Chronic Fatigue Syndrme, potentially Narcolepsy, 10+ Allergies, Daily Migraines, both of my hips are chronically inflamed and I have issues with severe chestpains which is undiagnosed right now.
What disables me is my severe pain. Daily, with pain medications, I'm daily between 6 and 9 on the painscale ( I only say 10 if I really need to see a doctor ). I'm also 3x weaker than the average person and my body heals -very- slowly. I do have nightmares every time I close my eyes, along with sleep paralysis so I struggle with getting the rest I mean, meaning my body is very sleep deprived.
I hope everyone struggling is getting the help they need and deserve. You are all wonderful human beings and I understand the frustration that comes along with suffering this way, but you're not alone. I'm here if anyone needs a friend.

Hello. I have severe dyslexic disorder that doesn't just effect my reading and writing skills, but my speech as well. I have gotten help in speech therapy for 6 years, until they kicked me out. They said there wasn't much they could do anymore. I can't tell if it's getting worse, or the more people expect of me it shows more, or both. It's something I struggle with, because I'm a senior in high school and only one person can understand what I'm say. I get so frustrated when I'm trying to explain something and it comes out as gibberish. Most of the time, I can't tell that I am talking nonsense because the words make sense in my head, but in reality I'm talking backwards. I need to focus real hard if I want to say a simple answer, however doing that all day causes me to over work my brain. So, I stay relatively quiet, unless I'm spoken to. My disorder lead me to lose a lot of friends and cause a lot of misunderstood fights from my disability to communicate probably. Everyone underestimates my I.Q. because they don't know if I can understand them or not. Teachers, friends, and other students push me aside because they think I can't do anything, or make good work of myself. It's all a big mess and I'm starting to believe they're right.

Hello @Tage, we are glad you joined!
Here you are not alone, you can share with us using posts or reaching a listener in chat for a supportive conversation.
Let me share with you some links about dyslexia, hoping you can find something interesting or useful in them :

Is there a way to check whether in your school there is a specific teaching-program for students with dyslexia?
Can your parents help you checking that?
I hope things will start to go a lil better soon.
Take care!
@ilenia5 Thank you so much for the links! Yes, I have gotten help, until my school's programs wouldn't accept any high schoolers. The only help I get is a certain friend who is very patient with me. I always appreciate her help every single day.
@Tage
Im glad to hear that you have a friend that is being nice with you and that is also helping you !
That's very positive and you deserve it!!
@Tage Aww, I'm so sorry you have to go through that, it seems absolutely awful for you. I will always be here if you need someone to talk to, with absolutely no judgement! The 7cups community is here for you. You seem like a wonderful person and this isn't your fault, it's not something you should be judged, nor made fun of for! Try to keep your head up and smile, you're worth it and nobody can say otherwise
@NordligSno Thank you so much for the support! I appreciate everything!
I have a dislocated patella and my quadricep muscles are torn away. I've been experiencing this for three months now and I have to wear a brace for my patella to be stabilized. It is rough at times, but in God I trust and not in man.
@Serenelia15
Welcome a board!
Thanks for sharing about you, it sure is hard but you are facing it, keep going on!
I have HFA. I'm not the best at talking to people so forgive me if I come across as being distant and cold. I like being alone for most of the time.
