Weekly Prompt #20: If you could do anything tomorrow, it would be________ (Complete the sentence)
Welcome back, group! I hope you are all being easy on yourself this week.
Last week we discussed: What are the triggers or situations that tend to worsen your depressive symptoms? Thank you to all who participated and shared their thoughts for discussion. I enjoyed them. I hope you all did too. If you didn't share yours, please share them here and I look forward to reading and discussing them with you
This week's prompt: If you could do anything tomorrow, it would be________
Depression can be really challenging and make one feel stuck. I wanted to start a discussion on if you could do anything tomorrow. Big or small, mini or tiny, or anything in between, everything counts. Share with us and I look forward to hearing and discussing with you all!

@ASilentObserver I would be sat on the seaside. Playing in the sand, watching the sunrise over the ocean. Getting attacked by seagulls as I eat my icecream. With good feelgood songs playing. Listening to the waves of the ocean. And relax😁
I would be in a cozy cabin in the woods with people I love who love me
@independentMelon5809 That cabin in the woods with loved ones who love you back sounds like it would be very cozy and comforting. What makes being in that setting with those people meaningful to you?
@independentMelon5809 yaaay! Cabin in the woods sounds dreamy. Except for all the hairy scarys😱(spiders)
@tinywhisper11 oh yes - not everyone’s cup of tea! Hopefully my cabin experience would be creepy crawly free! The seaside you described also sounds amazing! The water soothes me.
@ASilentObserver
Hi, again, ASO,
I'd be sitting down on my sofa with a bowl of popcorn in my home in Hawaii, with my cat Chloe, to watch a good movie.
It would be to have my healthy spine back so I could find work much easier and might even be found attractive by women and I would be working and not so lonely I can’t be happy alone. My life sucks!
@bgdave stupid spine!!! Sympathises with you ❤
@bgdave I understand this is a difficult situation and your loneliness is painful. Your desire for health, work and connection are very human. What matters most to you about finding work or attracting a partner?
@ASilentObserver learning what type of work my disabled body would be able to do dealing with the pain I endure each and everyday. I know work would help me to generate some financial resources I do not currently enjoy being on Medicaid and no disability financial assistance. When I have worked through my years I have enjoyed making a difference in whatever it was I was hired to do.
I'd pause life and just lay in the grass or on a beach by myself.
@ASilentObserver I would be a tropical or a Japanese person living by the sea and deep diving for pearls or sea creatures.
@mish3l It sounds like living near the sea and diving for treasures appeals deeply to you. What is it about that setting or activities that you find so intriguing? You seem drawn to the natural beauty and adventure of it.
@ASilentObserver hi! Yeah I'm a water element I live water, sea especially. I'm also an adventurous person, I like to discover new things, places, food..
I don't know what in the sea diving is so appealing to me. The sound of water makes me feel calm and happy and being in the vast underwater sea space without any people makes me feel free, like I could go anywhere and do anything, explore anything. And there to find some treasures of our beautiful nature 😍
I loved diving when we were in Croatia because the water there is so clear you can see everything. I can dive +-10m on one breath without any equipment except the swimming goggles. Croatia is perfect for searching for such treasures, there on some places I felt like the world is still not entirely lost and the beautiful undersea nature still isn't that damaged everywhere by the human activities. But I'm sure there are a lot of more beautiful places to discover. I would like to go to the sea every year.
And I like Japanese because they respect others and they also (in general) care for the nature.
If I could do anything tomorrow, it would be buying soft drinks and remove my nail polish.
I would like to take a trip, somewhere where there is beautiful scenery to drive by. Some type of water, ocean, river, lakes it doesn’t matter. I just want to stare at the beauty of nature and not let thoughts of depression take over.
@BH1973 It sounds like you're feeling drawn to the beauty of nature as a way to lift your spirits. Reflecting on scenery by the water could be soothing when depression weighs heavy. Just being present with the flowing or waves may help you feel less alone. What special things do you find most uplifting about such places?
Bill Gates, the compassionate, wise billionaire 😃
@HealingTalk It sounds like meeting Bill Gates would be a wonderful experience. What interests you most about his compassion and wisdom?
@ASilentObserver
He devotes his wealth, his time, his high profile and influence, to altruistic causes, while most people with the same resources use them to accumulate more and for frivolous hedonistic consumption.

@Mekuland3050 It sounds like you're feeling quite down on yourself. Feeling useless and miserable is incredibly difficult to cope with. What matters most right now is that you're here reaching out.
