Does anyone else Knit/Crochet
Hello, I am very new to 7-cups. Well I joined in 2018, but never really did anything until now (well I deactivated my account). So I am very new to all of this I hope you all can help me! But I was looking thorugh some threads and didn't see anything about knitting and crocheting, if there was and I missed it I am sorry. But does anyone knit or crochet?! I love to knit, I feel like it helps my anxiety and stress sometimes. I would love to chat about knitting and crochet with those who do it. I also want to start my own yarn dying business. Hi @secretCranberry200, I did little bit of crocheting a while ago. I learned everything from youtube. I hope to do it again soon as it was good for mind engaging. I do not have any plan for it, just made a few scarves for friends.

Im actually drowning in wool XD I really love knitting and cocheting, at the moment Im just too stressed out to work on my projects alone. So if you want to talk about this stuff, here I am ^^
@CatsDogs I love that, 'drowning in wool' me too! I made the mistake of looking on ebay for some yarn I wanted and put in some bids on different types, I then forgot about it and ended up winning the lot 😳 so now I have enough for years 😅
It would be nice to chat about things, whats your last WIP (work in progress)? Maybe we can work on this?

I just bought more and more wool. A friend owns a shop with wool so I had a lot of time ^^
and somtimes gor discount when I helped her out with worshops or so (:
@CatsDogs oooh how wonderful! A whole shop to look around. I must admit I am addicted to the cotton yarns, the really soft pastel colours lol, Could never master crocheting though so I need to knit and recently use a circular knitting needle!
What about you, what kind of knitting needles do you like to use?

I knit and crochet... Im the type of creative person who picks the most complicated pattern to work with XD my second projects where socks my 3. Ist a pullover knitted with two yarns at once ^^ but at the moment im crocheting a little jacket with bear ears for my sister, she loves little cute things ^^
@CatsDogs complicated!!!!! Oh wow! I like to do kind of freelance knitting, so I make it up as I go along and see what happens lol, The jacket sounds adorable!

yes in some cases I love it complicated ^^ but what you are doing is something I could never, respect! I always need a plan XD

@CatsDogs Have you thought of making the buttons from fabric or a crochet ball?
I am knitting with a navy water cotton, just knitting as I find it very calming, sometimes I stretch myself and try lace making ! OMW that is fun and COMPLICATED!

Sounds calming... *-* and I love lace! But Im not really good at it. I need always a little "rest" from my big projects, then I often crochet croptops :D I tried to learn I think its called Tatting... Thats really good to make lace... Maybe its for you :D

for it! I’ve def been getting into it more now that I’ve discovered YouTube tutorials (I’m a visual learner and find them easier to understand then crochet patterns). I find crocheting to be relaxing while also making me feel productive and it’s a nice distraction from stress and anxiety.

I have made a couple of things but they aren't great since I'm still learning.
I've made a bee, these two succulents in a pot, a reindeer ornament (that didn't turn out well), and now I'm working on making a corn cow haha.
@Syd113 A bee sounds wonderful, using different colors too! Whats a corn cow?

I love knitting. I find it very good to help my focus. I can literally do it all day, with the television going.
