Does anyone else Knit/Crochet
Hello, I am very new to 7-cups. Well I joined in 2018, but never really did anything until now (well I deactivated my account). So I am very new to all of this I hope you all can help me! But I was looking thorugh some threads and didn't see anything about knitting and crocheting, if there was and I missed it I am sorry. But does anyone knit or crochet?! I love to knit, I feel like it helps my anxiety and stress sometimes. I would love to chat about knitting and crochet with those who do it. I also want to start my own yarn dying business. I enjoy crocheting. I haven't done so in a couple years, but I recently got my crochet stuff out of storage and I'm planning to make some stuff for this autumn/winter season. :D
I've tried to learn both in the past, but I was impatient and frustrated that I kept messing up and having to start over so I just lost interest lol I've settled on just buying crochet items on Etsy. I really like amigurumi
@OpalMagicHead I used to crochet and knit both...MUCH prefer to crochet. Haven't done it in longer than I care to admit, though.
I've never tried, but my mother likes knitting. This is one of her hobbies.
DIY thing calm me down. I really like to try everything I can DIY. Of course I tried knitting and crocheting, as well. And I had many good items that I could even sell but I was always afraid to do this. Reading the etsy reviews, I see many ppl get profit from their hobby. However, as for me, i'd like to let it be my hobby and not work.
I love knitting and crochet! I first learned loom knitting about 6-7 years ago. I made mostly hats, but I also made stuffed animals sometimes. Less than a year ago, I taught myself how to crochet and have made tons of stuff since then: tank tops, coasters, headbands, plushies, keychains, and a lot of other things! I have experience selling my knitting/crochet before, so lately I've been thinking about opening an etsy shop. It would help my family out a lot for me to earn money in some way, and I think having a crochet shop would be a fun way of doing it! Anyway, it makes me happy knowing so many other people enjoy knitting/crochet as much as I do!
