DIy Bird-bath from Elephant-ear plant
Elephant ear Plant made into the concrete bird bath.
This is what it looked like before I painted it. The green is the elephant ear leaf. When the concrete hardens, the veins and all the imprints of the leaf are left in the concrete. I left a small hole where the stem of the elephant ear stem was to run a tube into it and hid the pump behind it. The birds love it❤️

@WorkingitThrough2 Thank you - Happy New Year to you too ❤️
This is cool! How did the pump workout?
@IchooseLife79
I did a sun-activated solar pump. It does well when the sun is shining.I get a lot of sun in my yard😊
Nice :) Looking forward to a pic with some birds on it. hehehe
I've seen this done before, and love the idea of having a pump set up to keep the water moving rather than standing to prevent things like mosquitoes from breeding in it. My friends actually have one that looks very similar. Do you have a space in mind for setting this up?
@EmotionsListener
Hey, I sure do. I have a stand in my backyard by my bird feeders that they perch on, and they come right to the edge and drink water. I think it is so cool. I have bird feeders all around my yard, and I sit at my dining room table and watch them every morning. Even the squirrels come, I chase them away from the bird's food and throw them out separate food when I have it😂
