@ouicherie

Which discussion was the last you completed?

- Discussion 10

What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?

- I am behind! Today is the day to hand in Coursework completion and I'm trying to finish the last three assignments outstanding. 10, 12, and 13.

What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.

- I read through everything. Go to the CDM message board at least once a week. Also, the notion is very motivating. I love the google classroom.

Weekly Progress:

1. Which discussion was the last you completed?

Being my first week in the CDM Program, I did managed to complete up to Discussion 4: Social Media Copywriting Exercise.

2. What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?

The second task took some time to digest the requirement and give out the needed answer, it was not difficult to execute but to understand the requirement took some time. I had a great time working on it.

3. What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.

Discussion 3: Social media graphic was smooth, and I enjoyed designing it. Plan the content you are going to present, keep it simple and short. Keep your logos or attachments ready. Select a template that can catch your eyes, edit and post it.

1. I completed various discussion and learn many things such as using the keywords for content writing, using Canva for design posters and many more.

2. Content writing was hard as I have to think creatively. But as I view more and more examples, I am able to get better at it.

3. The guiding instructions are pretty useful and helped me to learn better.

@ouiCherie

=> Which discussion was the last you completed?

I last completed Discussion 3. I have been working on Discussion 4 but I feel I might have done wrong in discussion 3 so I would love to have feedback on it :)

=> What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?

I have a tendency to overdo creative content (I've produced a lot of them for myself/my company and forums I was administrator/moderator on) and I've noticed it was part of my style, and I had in mind to create a series of inspirational quotes coming from songs so that would have a playlist/cover style but which might just not be fitting 7cups branding overall.

=> What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.

I found it satisfying and very interesting to write the optimised Q&A. I'm looking forward to writing more articles.

I'm not sure I have any good tips at this time, I would say when writing take your time to let the keywords form a story in your head, that's at least how I do it :)

@WhenTheTimeComes

Hi, it's great to know you have a background experiences in content 🤍 I think it's good to have a personal style, yet when we are working for a client, we may have to adjust to their 'voice'

I've shared the logos in PNG format in your post.

@ouiCherie

Which discussion was the last you completed?

Hi. It's my first week. I'm on discussion 10, completed my trial and writing my first article.

What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?

I was just struggling with finding the right wording for the headline for my article

What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.

All discussions were very useful even if sometimes required a bit more of work. If you are a bit stuck look at what the discussions later are about they may be of help. Also the other answers are a great help.

Which discussion was the last you completed?

- I have started to read up on Writing Fresh Content for 7 Cups: Guidelines and Ensuring Best Writing Practices.

- Had started to work on writing a short write-up for the activity under Best Practices.

What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?

- I struggled with writing the short write-up as i have to think about the content, language and style of writing. Any help is much appreciated, for example where are some case study i can refer to, to learn about the style of writing etc.

What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.

- I stayed on track with the program and did not procrastinate as much as this is a self-paced learning course.

Hi @optimisticLand3199

Great progress and tip 👍

As for writing style, you can check out 7 Cups' article section here https://www.7cups.com/experts/

And you can use free version of paraphrasing tool like Wordtune here https://www.wordtune.com/ to check alternative sentences that fit best.

Hope it helps a bit 🤍

@ouiCherie

Which discussion was the last you completed?

The last one I completed is number 5.

What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?

I struggled a little bit with using plagiarism tools.

What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.

I enjoyed writing an answer for Q&A as well as making an illustration for it. I struggle finding any tip really, I think the best is to be passionate about what you do and follow the steps :)

@WhenTheTimeComes

Great going! 💫 what did you find hard in using plagiarism tool, if you don’t mind me asking?

A simple yet solid tip there. Passion and follow the provided steps are best! Thanks for sharing 😊🤍

@ouiCherie

My first issue has been that I actually forgot to check for plagiarism. The second was that the tool indicated that one sentence I wrote was found somewhere, yet when checking the page of the website it was not appearing anywhere 😅 It felt a little bit like damn, this plagiarism thing is playing with me ahah 😝

Ahhh, got it. Was it from SAMHSA? I encountered similar when it's from SAMHSA.

Has it solved now?

❤️ Thank you for this post! This is my report for the first week ❤️

❤️ The last discussion I completed was "Reviewing and Promoting Current Articles"! I got very enthusiastic haha ❤️

❤️ I struggled with a bit of nervousness, but I think I'm managing it quite well ❤️

❤️ I think the Program is going well in general! Since I already completed all the discussions, I'm focusing on the Practical Components knowing I have a lot of time. ❤️

❤️ My first and most important tip is: avoid the worries as much as you possibly can. If you are stressed, you won't enjoy the Program or be able to properly focus. You can always re-apply or ask for an extension if needed, so calm your awesome self down and enjoy the experience ❤️

❤️ Thank you for being so wonderful! ❤️

❤️ Thank you for the motivation and empathy! Nervousness is hard but I'm really enjoying the Program thanks to astounding people like you ❤️

❤️ Aw, thank you! And yes, take a deep breath and enjoy the experience. Errors are okay, just keep learning ❤️

❤️ Thank you, and thank *you* for being so extraordinary ❤️

❤️ Thank you for this post! This is my report for the second week ❤️

❤️ The last discussion I completed was "Reviewing and Promoting Current Articles"! I already completed all of them haha ❤️

❤️ I struggled with a timeloss because I've been feeling physically bad, but I'm still progressing ❤️

❤️ The Program is going great! Completing all the discussions early allowed me to focus on (and finish) one of my practical components, and I'm currently working on my first article. Yay! ❤️

❤️ My weekly tip is: use time management! Unexpected things happen, so wisely investing your time can be a life-saver (both to meet deadlines and to prevent unexpected elements from messing with you). You can always ask for help if needed, so... calm your beautiful self down, apply time management to avoid stress and enjoy even more! ❤️

❤️ Thank you for being so radiant! ❤️

❤️ Thank you for this post! This is my report for the third week ❤️

❤️ The last discussion I completed was "Reviewing and Promoting Current Articles". I completed all of the discussions a while ago haha ❤️

❤️ I struggled with an annnoying lack of mental energy and a timeloss because I've been feeling physically unwell and I'm in the middle of a trip, but I'm still advancing ❤️

❤️ The Program is going amazingly! Completing a lot of elements early allowed me to work on (and already finish!) my second article. Yay!!! ❤️

❤️ My weekly tip is: schedule and prepare yourself! Procrastinating can become a problem if our brains decide to sabotage us. To fight that, using a schedule and just being proactive can really avoid stronger inconveniences. If it helps, you can set a reward system and treat yourself after finishing your beautiful work! Remember: go at your own pace, but always keep going! And, of course, avoid stressing and enjoy the experience ❤️

❤️ Thank you for being so unique! ❤️

❤️ Thank you for this post! This is my report for the fourth week ❤️

❤️ The last discussion I completed was "Reviewing and Promoting Current Articles". I completed them all ahead of time haha ❤️

❤️ I struggled with a frustrating lack of time caused by my off-line life, but I'm still advancing ❤️

❤️ The Program is going great! The fact that I completed a lot of things early allows me to stay tranquil, which is crucial for my journey, so yay!!! ❤️

❤️ My weekly tip is: don't ignore your own effort! The Program is huge, and going through it is a (really rewarding) challenge. Feeling overwhelmed by it is not only natural, but also extremely easy. So, do me and yourself a favor and remember that you are doing a lot. You committed to a journey of growth that involves a lot of learning and an enormous amount of work, so notice your tremendous effort! And, of course, treat yourself during the process to enjoy the experience even more ❤️

❤️ Thank you for being so marvellous! ❤️

❤️ Thank you for this post! This is my report for the fifth week ❤️

❤️ The last discussion I completed was "Reviewing and Promoting Current Articles". I completed the discussions a while ago haha ❤️

❤️ I struggled with a lot of overwhelming stress because a lot is going on, but I'm managing ❤️

❤️ The Program is going marvellously: this actually is my last report! I already finished my Honors work *and* I submitted the Last Step Form today, so yay!!! ❤️

❤️ My weekly tip is: take a deep breath and relax. As I mentioned, the Program is a lot, 7 Cups is a lot and your life is a lot. It can be overwhelming, stressful and difficult, but you are doing it! Take a minute to realize that you are doing a lot, that you are trying your best and that that's more than enough. This is tremendous, but you are acing it! So, please, take a moment to feel proud of your impressive self, to relax and to enjoy the fact that you are luminous and brilliant. And, of course, don't forget to enjoy the experience ❤️

❤️ Thank you for being so laureate ❤️
