I think it's anxiety 2
Whenever i feel nervous, i started to do mistakes. For example, i want to press multiply. In calculator but pressing other button instead. And people that see me tell me to keep calm. I think it's anxiety
@worryBear I can relate with that :/ anxiety makes us feel overwhelmed and even the usual tasks can seem like a challenge.. you're not alone <3
I wish I don't have them :'(
@worryBear
Aw man that sounds horrible and I completely understand! Anxiety can cloud our brain so even the smallest tasks seem harder to perform. It seems like you might be overwhelmed with thoughts which prevent you from focusing on the task at hand, example clicking a calculator button. But dont worry, anxiety is VERY manageable and lots of people have done it! Do you feel disconnected to the world when you're anxious, like you can't focus on anything else but the thoughts? If so, grounding yourself back to reality can help.
@worryBear have you perhaps tried a breathing technique or counting backwards to help calm you down before performing any activity that might distress you??
@worryBear
I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this, I know how hard it can be dealing with anxiety, as it can make us panic, leading to mistakes. But anxiety is very common and with the right support and coping mechanisms can be managed.
@worryBear
I get how you feel and you aren't alone. There are so many people out there who relate to you. I just want to tell you that you're doing great!
Keep going! <3
@worryBear Hi Bear, I'm sorry to hear you have been struggling with your anxiety getting in the way of day to day tasks. Anxiety is a natural survival response by our body to a stressor, and can often make it difficult to think 'straight'. You have done the right thing reaching out and I can tell you that you aren't alone in how you are feeling. Acknowledging how you're feeling is the first step so I'd like to congratulate you on recognising this! What are some things (tools) you could put in place to help you deal with these times when you anxiety is heightened?
@worryBearHi Worrybear, I'm sorry to hear you are dealing with anxiety right now, it can muddle up your brain in times of stress! Have you considered learning any breathing techniques? We have many of resources on 7cups on coping mechanisms of anxiety!
@worryBear
It's not uncommon for anxiety to manifest in various ways, and making mistakes when feeling nervous is a common experience. Remember that making mistakes is a natural part of being human, and it's okay to seek support if you find that anxiety is impacting your daily life. If these feelings persist or become overwhelming, considering professional help from a mental health professional could provide valuable guidance and support tailored to your specific situation.
@worryBear
Hello, welcome to 7 Cups... I am extremely glad that you're reaching out for help. I understand what you're going through. It's a really hard feeling. Sometimes when we are anxious we find it difficult to focus on a particular task that seems simple and easy and we often make mistakes. I have been there so I can understand how it feels for you. But don't worry ... try out some deep breathing exercises before you start doing with any tasks. This will help you calm down your mind and you'll be better able to focus on tasks.
@worrybear
im so sorry that you are feeling so anxious that you are making mistakes in the simplest of tasks. I think this is quite common. And you are certainly not alone in this. It sounds like things might be overwhelming for you as well and that can also lead to mistakes on simple tasks.
what have you found to be helpful in the past when you are feeling anxious and overwhelmed?
And what chance you tried to calm yourself down right now?
