@sofiacarsonfan27
You got this! Chat gpt surely helps haha. My pfp is generated by it too😛
Let us know how we can best support you❤️
thank you! if you dont mind me asking which chatgpt did you use for our pfp? i can’t find any image generators that are free
- ive been feeling really anxious and stressed
- medical school applications, they are due in a few weeks and I’ve been trying to get everything together while doing school
- talking with friends helps, I used to exercise but I stopped having time, and same with meditation. I’m hoping to get back into exercising and meditations after I submit my applications
- the most effective form I find is friends/family. Having someone listen to you, and then give you advice makes me feel heard and feel not alone
- advice: talk with others! Don’t keep it bottled up. Perhaps other people feel the same way you do, and so you can see you aren’t alone ❤️🩹
@daydreammemories trigger warning, surgery.. I'm anxious about my physical health, I have spine surgery tommorow morning. So yep! Anxiety is definitely taking over. What helps me the most is people here at cups, I'm very lucky to have many great friends here ❤ how I'm dealing with anxiety, just putting on a brave face🙂
I'm new to this forum but just was checking in to see how your surgery went. I bet your anxiety was off the chats because I know how health anxiety can be.
@patientJar2172 @daydreammemories thanks for caring ❤❤ your both very sweet ❤
trigger warning, disabilities and surgery..
The bottom of my spine is broken and not completely fixable, so I'm paralysed from the waist down, and 4 years ago they amputated my legs. This surgery they put another metal plate in and said my neuro passageways are still working for my upper body, and will men's itself and I will get the feeling in my left side back again (recently lost feeling in upper left side ) so my physiotherapy routine has been changed up a bit, I will have to do theese exercises for the rest of my life, which I knew that anyway. So yeah it all went good ❤ and I'll get the feeling in my left side back, I'm so happy about that🙂❤
❤❤❤
2. What is one thing that has been disturbing your mental health the most? Intrusive thoughts. Constantly scanning my mind and body for anything that may be wrong.
3. What methods are you using to deal with stressors? I repeat "get out of your head" multiple times to myself. Walking/hiking really helps and being busy with my children's sports. Being around other people is helpful.
4. What forms of support do you find the most effective? Whether it's cups or any other form of supportive resources, we would love to hear! Online support, apps, deep breathing, talking to a few close people about how I'm feeling.
5. Any advice you would have to other people dealing with anxiety (: 💕You're not alone. There are more people than you'd ever realize feeling similar. Self-care is not selfish, it is necessary.
@daydreammemories
Thank You for posting.
1. How have you been feeling in the past few weeks?
I have been feeling quite stressed and anxious.
2. What is one thing that has been disturbing your mental health the most?
Negative Thinking.
3. What methods are you using to deal with stressors?
My ways to cope with these stressors are journaling or writing them down. Just writing how I feel, what my thoughts are, my to-dos etc all help me. Writing positive affirmations and also practising gratitude help me look at the positive side.
4. What forms of support do you find the most effective? Whether it's cups or any other form of supportive resources, we would love to hear!
I find these kinds of journal prompts very effective. So these kinds of posts are really helpful.
5. Any advice you would have to other people dealing with anxiety.
It's okay to be anxious about upcoming events. We all become anxious. There is nothing wrong. But it becomes a problem when the anxiety levels are high and the individual is unable to handle these anxious thoughts. In such cases support is needed. I personally like to have a journal and write things down. Because our minds are naturally filled with many distarctions and negative thoughts. Thus, keeping a journal helps me to keep track of these thoughts. It also gives me the opportunity to reframe these thoughts to positive ones.
@daydreammemories
1. This month has been very difficult for me. I had a panic attack to the point where I had to go home early from work.
2. My relationship has gone completely at a tipping point due to some things I am not ok with. I ended the relationship as a result.
3. Talking to people I trust and engaging in activities I enjoy.
4. Through this situation, I have been blessed with the outstanding listeners 7cups has. Being able to reach out to others helps significantly.
5. I know that it’s horrible now, but it will pass. It will make you a stronger person.
@reliableeagle6670
