My mother passed away today
I'm feeling sad as my mother just passed away today at the hospital from a rare form of cancer. Please keep my family in your thoughts. My grandson was close to her and he is not taking this news well. Thank you for allowing me the space to share. It's difficult as her birthday is two days away.

Thank you so very much for your kindness. My grandson is 13 years old and he keeps saying why did she have to go so soon. He looks at the many texts he received from his great grandmother. My grandson is truly remarkable as he has been through 3 open heart surgeries and living with other medical conditions. He is my heart hero.
@courageousLemon182. Your grandson sounds amazing and very brave to face so much in his young life. That must be hard to try and answer his questions about your mother’s passing.
Yes it’s difficult. For me and daughter. So we have so much patience and love which makes things easier for him to understand as he always has so many intelligent questions

@courageousLemon182 so sorry your loss and being pray you and your family I loss my dad like 4 half months ago so know how you feel focus on family and yourself will take grief of these loss but i am here if need some to talk to and i am still going that myself
Hi everyone! My heart goes out to each of you for showing so much love and support during this difficult time in my life and my family life. It’s not easy losing a love one even when we know that our bodies are here temporary. Sometimes we don’t want to believe that our love ones will one day leave us or they left us too soon. Losing a close relative or friend due to illness or untimely death is not always easy to cope. I will return to the 50+ community soon as I will be posting on the grief community more in expressing my thoughts and feelings more. Again thank you so very much for all that you have shared and your kindness. This has helped me so much and also helps me to support my love ones better mentally and emotionally.
