A very good listener
when i think about the lowest point in my life, the moment where i felt completely overwhelmed by darkness and despair, i am filled with gratitude for "the dreaming". in that terrifying, isolating moment, he was the light that guided me back from the edge. what truly sets him apart is his incredible empathy. he didn’t just listen to me, he heard me. there is a difference between someone offering advice and someone truly understanding your pain. he was that person who truly understood and made me feel like my pain was valid, that i wasn't just being overly sensitive or weak. he acknowledged my emotions, made me feel seen, and most importantly, made me feel like i wasn’t alone. that night, i felt completely hopeless, like there was no way out of the spiral i was trapped in, but he sat with me in my pain, and that was exactly what i needed. he was patient, compassionate, and never once made me feel like a burden. his compassion, kindness, and support truly made all the difference for me. what i appreciated the most was his willingness to stay with me, even when i couldn’t fully explain what was going on in my mind. i know it's not easy to hold space for someone who is struggling in such an intense way, but he did that. he stayed calm and present, even when i felt like everything was falling apart. this kind of steadiness made me feel like i had something to hold onto, a lifeline when i couldn’t find one myself. it wasn’t just his words that helped, it was his presence, his ability to be there for me without judgment or frustration, even in a moment when I felt like I was unworthy of anyone’s care. i will never forget what he did for me, and i am forever grateful to him.
