I strongly believe in psychology - as a psychology student - I view our Psyches/psychology to be a key for all success in life. I believe that soulfully, we are all butterflies - we suffer from trials and misfortunes, and bit by bit, we are purified by our sufferings, until we are able to soar like a great butterfly. But the greatest thing amongst the chaos of this world, is that we can unite in the face of darkness in order to grasp the light. Conquer your life today, and reach out whenever needed!

Day 21: Grateful for the Journey: Reflecting on 2024
7 Cups Online Therapy / by SoulfullyAButterfly

...See more Every year brings a mix of highs and lows, lessons learned, and memories made. While some moments may have challenged us, others reminded us of the beauty and joy life has to offer. Looking back, it’s not just about the big milestones but also the small victories and the ways we’ve grown. Gratitude for the journey doesn’t mean every moment was perfect; it means recognizing the value in each experience and the strength it took to get here. Finding Gratitude in the Year Gone By 2024 may have brought new opportunities, deepened relationships, or moments of personal growth. It might also have presented obstacles that required resilience and courage. Gratitude allows us to honor both - the triumphs and the struggles - acknowledging that each played a role in shaping who we are today. As you reflect on this year, think about the moments that made you smile, the people who stood by you, and the lessons that helped you grow. These reflections can remind us to celebrate not just the destination, but the journey itself. Looking Forward with Gratitude Gratitude for the past helps us step into the new year with clarity and hope. By appreciating what 2024 has taught us, we can carry those lessons forward and embrace what lies ahead with open hearts and minds. Reflective Questions * What are some moments from 2024 that you’re most grateful for, and why? * What challenges did you face this year, and how did they contribute to your personal growth? * As you look toward 2025, what lessons or habits from this year do you want to carry forward? Let’s take this time to share our reflections and gratitude for the journey of 2024. Whether it was a year of growth, healing, or new beginnings, every step was part of your unique path. This post is part of the 25 Days of Gratitude, Self-Care, and Personal Growth event at 7 Cups! Day 16: Embracing Change: Lessons from the Past Year
7 Cups Online Therapy / by SoulfullyAButterfly

...See more As the year draws to a close, it’s a perfect time to reflect on how change has shaped us. While it can be uncomfortable, even difficult, change often brings with it valuable lessons and a chance to grow in ways we never imagined. Lessons from Change Change teaches us resilience, flexibility, and the importance of letting go of what no longer serves us. It encourages us to embrace uncertainty and trust that even the most difficult transitions can lead to something meaningful. Whether it’s starting a new chapter, saying goodbye to an old one, or simply adjusting to the ebb and flow of life, every shift carries an opportunity for reflection and learning. Sometimes, change forces us to confront fears or step outside our comfort zones. Other times, it gently nudges us toward something new and fulfilling. Either way, it’s through these moments that we grow stronger, wiser, and more self-aware. Celebrating Growth As we reflect on the year, let’s take a moment to acknowledge the changes we’ve experienced and the strength it took to navigate them. Whether you faced big life events or subtle shifts in perspective, every step counts. Celebrate how far you’ve come and the lessons you’ve learned along the way. Reflective Questions * What was the most significant change you experienced this year, and how did it impact you? * What lessons did you learn about yourself while navigating this change? * Was there a moment of growth that surprised you? * Is there a change you’ve been resisting that might be worth embracing in the year ahead? Feel free to share your reflections in the comments. Let’s support each other as we celebrate the courage it takes to embrace change and the growth it brings. Together, we can honor the lessons of the past year and step into the new one with confidence and hope. This post is part of the 25 Days of Gratitude, Self-Care, and Personal Growth event at 7 Cups! Day 13: People Who Made My Year Special
7 Cups Online Therapy / by SoulfullyAButterfly
Last post
...See more As the year comes to a close, it's natural to look back on the moments that shaped us. While achievements, challenges, and milestones often stand out, it's the people around us who truly leave a lasting impact. Whether they offered a listening ear, a kind word, or simply their presence, these individuals have made the year brighter and more meaningful. Celebrating the Special People in Our Lives Sometimes, it’s the little things - like a friend who sent an encouraging text when you needed it most or a colleague who made workdays more enjoyable, that can transform an ordinary moment into something extraordinary. Other times, it might be a mentor who guided you through a difficult decision or a family member who supported you unconditionally. These connections remind us that life isn’t just about what we do but also about the relationships we build. They’re a source of strength, joy, and growth, teaching us that we’re never truly alone. Practicing Gratitude for These Connections The end of the year is a wonderful opportunity to express gratitude for the people who’ve made a difference in our lives. A simple “thank you” or thoughtful gesture can go a long way in showing your appreciation. Whether it’s writing a heartfelt note, giving them a call, or even sharing a memory with them, acknowledging their impact can strengthen these bonds and make both of you feel valued. Reflect and Celebrate Together Let’s take a moment to celebrate these connections together. Share your stories about the people who’ve made your year special, no matter how big or small their impact was. Let this post be a space for gratitude, love, and recognition for those who’ve touched our lives. These people can be on 7 Cups and/or in other life areas. Reflective Questions * Who are three people who made your year special, and how did they impact your life? * What’s one moment with someone that made you feel deeply grateful this year? * How can you show appreciation to those who’ve supported or inspired you this year? * Reflecting on these relationships, what lessons have you learned about connection, kindness, or gratitude? Feel free to share your thoughts and stories in the comments below. Let’s end the year by celebrating the people who remind us of the beauty in connection and community. Day 12: The "What Went Well" Technique
7 Cups Online Therapy / by SoulfullyAButterfly
Last post
December 14th
...See more As the holiday season approaches, many of us find ourselves reflecting on the year gone by. One simple yet powerful technique that can help us maintain a positive perspective during this time is the "What Went Well" Technique, also called "3 Good Things" What is the "What Went Well" Technique? Founded by Dr. Martin Seligman, the "What Went Well" method is a gratitude exercise designed to boost life satisfaction and reduce depression. By reflecting on and writing down three positive events from your day, this practice encourages you to focus on the positive, cultivating a deeper sense of appreciation for life's small victories. How to Practice the "What Went Well" Technique 1) Choose a Consistent Time: Pick a regular time each day to reflect, whether it’s at the end of your day, during a quiet moment, or before bed. This consistency helps you make it part of your routine. 2) Pause and Reflect: Take a moment to think about your day. Look back and identify three positive things, no matter how big or small. They could be something you accomplished, a nice interaction you had, or even a moment of peace. 3) Write Down Your Reflections: Jot down each of the three positive events in a journal or on a piece of paper. Be specific: describe what happened, where it happened, and what made it meaningful to you. 4) Dig Deeper: After noting the events, take a few more moments to reflect on why these moments were positive and how they made you feel. This adds a deeper layer to your gratitude and helps reinforce the benefits of focusing on the good. Why this Technique Can Help You - Gratitude, Self-Care, and Personal Growth The act of reflecting on the positives is a powerful form of self-care. It nurtures a sense of peace and satisfaction, especially when life feels stressful. Practicing gratitude helps us appreciate the present, even when we feel like there’s so much more to do. Plus, focusing on the positives can have long-term benefits for our emotional well-being, reducing stress and enhancing our ability to handle life's challenges. The "What Went Well" technique is not just about being grateful for the present, but also about recognizing how far we’ve come. Reflecting on your growth over the holidays and the past year can bring clarity and motivation as you move forward. This practice encourages a mindset of progress, helping us feel empowered as we set new goals for the year ahead. Ready to Practice? As you practice the "What Went Well" technique this holiday season, consider these questions to deepen your reflections: * What are three positive things that happened today, no matter how small? * How did these moments make you feel, and why are they important to you? * What positive events in the past year do you feel most grateful for, and how did they contribute to your personal growth? * How can focusing on gratitude this holiday season enhance your self-care routine? I encourage you to take a few minutes each day, especially during the holidays, to reflect on and write down three things that went well. We are here to help you reflect and celebrate your growth!  This post is part of the 25 Days of Gratitude, Self-Care, and Personal Growth event at 7 Cups!
