I've always been an introvert and have had difficulty expressing my emotions. A few years ago, I went through a tough breakup which had a big impact on me. I've also faced failure in final papers, but these experiences have taught me a lot. Unfortunately, all the stress and unspoken emotions have caused hormonal issues and weight gain.
But I've learned that true happiness comes from making others happy. Nothing matters more than the impact you make on others' lives. Recently, I've remembered how my friends used to trust me and share things with me. I also recently interviewed my father on his birthday about his regrets, grief, and gratitude. It was a really emotional experience for him, but it made him feel relieved and happy to express his emotions. I believe that expressing our emotions can make us better mentally and physically.
So, I want to extend a friendly ear to the elderly. I think I can make a positive impact on their lives by listening to their stories, sharing their experiences, and bringing them happiness.
