June 15th Onward: I'm prioritizing college, work and in-person volunteering at parks, unsure of my availability. Should I be available, expect us to talk for around 1 to 1.5 hours. Otherwise, expect a response from me within the same week and willingness to schedule a time that works for the both of us. I'm making an effort to be available on Sundays (EST) or rather what I hope to make them - Service Sundays

Bear's Personal Statement 📄

My goal is to pay it forward: There's a positive cycle and relationship between listeners and members where both benefit from supportive conversations. Members rely on support from listeners to overcome challenges and listeners rely on members to develop a greater sense of self worth. Whether you're reaching out for support or you're providing support to someone else, both you and the other person end up winning! By pledging to pay it forward and remembering how much I appreciate what I've gotten from 7 Cups, I hope to inspire others to pay it forward as well and to continue the positive cycle. My goal is to be a supportive pillar for members through formal conversations or through casual conversations. Formal conversations prioritize emotional support and active listening. Casual conversations welcome lighthearted chats about everyday interests and ideas. I also aspire to take on leadership roles such as Quality Mentor to support my fellow listeners too. To develop as a listener, I've undergone verification, graduated from the Quality Listening Program and completed the internship program on 7 Cups.

...See more I told myself that after the last semester, I would not only build something of a routine but would also build a routine that consists of hobbies. Volunteering again as a listener on 7 Cups is one hobby I started again, but I'd like to try something else as well. I'm considering running as well or at the very least walking haha. I'd like at least one more activity to try out and establish as a part of my routine. Building this routine and building habits is something I've struggled with in the past, so I'm wondering how I can improve on that. On the subject of improvement, does anyone have any new year's resolutions that concern hobbies? I'd love to hear :)
