Bio
I am both a Canadian and Mexican citizen and have been living in Mexico for 24 years. I have a Master's degree in Social Work and my career was working in Emergency Departments in Canada dealing with patients and families in cases of major physical and/or emotional trauma, sudden death, child and adult abuse concerns, treatment to the elderly and families, loss and grief etc. After living in Mexico for two years, I started a non-profit charity in an impoverished community. We gave breakfast to children before they went to school and scholarships to children with good grades to keep them in school. I retired in 2019 and now teach English to students all over the world. I live in a coastal area, I love to read, kayak, jog, do crossword puzzles, and travel. I have been told I have excellent listening skills, am astute and perceptive.
