Try using lemon juice. Many people have said that it's worked for all their scars since the acid will lessen the darkness of the scar.

I've read that lemon juice does a pretty good job of getting rid of scars. Haven't tried it but I am planning to.

don't touch the or try to take them out they will fade alone and you can also try to take some creme that can help them fade faster from a pharmacy or a dermathologue

Self harm scars fade naturally overtime, using coconut oil on them helps to fade them over time, although it may not be 100% successful.

Well, possibly there are ways to speed up the healing process but they are part of you, they are 'battle scars'. Dont be ashamed of you past self self and show that you fought and won.

Try to cover and not leave open. Treat as you would a cut (if shallow), using bandages and neosporin

Time will help the scars to reduce in size and redness. Also, once they have healed, you could put makeup over them to conceal them. Another way that might work is putting tea tree oil on the scar, it is meant to soften the tissue and make it less noticeable.

When my friend self-harmed, she waited until the scars healed and then she put lotion on the scars. Of course it is never okay to self-harm because the end is not the answer! Stay strong (:

Bio oil is really helpful for getting rid of scars of any type, if you massage it into the skin twice a day. The massaging action itself encourages the skin to renew and for the scars to disappear more quickly.

There are many ways to get rid of scars including lotions and oils. But first ask yourself why you what to get rid of them. Is it for a practical purpose such as for work or another reason, like being ashamed of them. If the latter is true, try to see your scars as a reminder of your strength, after all, you didn't give up- you're still here.

Self harm scars will fade on their own after time but in the short term maybe try putting make-up over healed wounds, and/or bio-oil.

There are many creams that you can buy, you can wear layers of clothing, or even get them tattooed over. Some people actually take pride in their scars as a reminder, and they embrace them! I hope this has helped!

Allow the to heal without re-harming over the top of them. As they are healing you can apply a bio-oil which will help reduce the scarring. it takes time but the scars will fade

Self harm scars heal over time, some take days, months, years to heal , some leave permanent scaring. There is no true way of getting rid of them as such as your body heals itself over time which is affected by your age. If you're still self harming I would say you need to talk to a doctor and get professional help.

There are a lot of different protein-creams available. They are originally meant for stretch marks, but works just as well on self harm scars.

Things you would want to use to help get rid of Self Harm Scars!!!! --Try a silicon gel sheet. --Use Mederma. --Try Bio-Oil --Try other scar reduction creams or gels. --Apply petroleum jelly to fresh scars. --Try aloe vera. --Use lemon juice. --Use olive oil. --Use concealer and foundation. --Wear wrist accessories. --Accept your scars. Your scars may be something you want to hide or avoid talking about, but they can also remind you about your personal strength. Acknowledge that you went through a very difficult stage in your life and you have grown stronger since then.

I used stretch mark cream as well as Shea Butter lotion to help with my scars, It has done a significant job of dulling the scar and making it appear a lot smaller.

Using Bio Oil helped me a lot, using it twice a day everyday. They don't disappear completely but it definitely helps reduce them.

I have been struggling with this myself, and the only thing I found helpful was to avoid direct sun (which is not good for any scars) and put lotion on daily. After a while I could actually see progress, and now they're almost completely gone.

Lemon juice helps remove them, and you might want to invest in scar cream. Unfortunately they might stay for a long time. If you're lucky they'll fade with time. Also make-up is a short term solution.

They won't fade. But you can always try to cover them with makeup or longer sleeved shirts, jeans or dresses.

Sometimes you just have to wait it out. Yes I know it might take a while but trust me once they are gone you will feel so much better.
