I am not a doctor and am providing my opinion based on experience. Almost always, the symptoms of a panic attack are temporary and minor. However, it is always best to have regular checkups with your doctor, and to discuss any symptoms that you experience during a panic attack. Feeling like we could die during a panic attack is very common. If you have insurance, often times there is a benefit that allows you to speak to a nurse 24/7 for free by calling the number on the back of your insurance card. If there is ever a doubt, especially if you experience chest pain, confusion, or dizziness, contacting emergency services or a trusted friend or family member is best.
They are not particularly dangerous by themselves. When coupled with other factors like drugs, crowds, or dangerous objects, however, they can be quite dangerous.
Sometimes individuals who experience panic attacks tend to think that they are worse than they actually are. For example, your heart rate increases because you're scared, but you think that you're having a heart attack instead.

Panic attacks lead to increased heart rate, and hyperventilating - worst-cases scenarios it will only lead to passing out thankfully
Everyone is different. There is no one answer fits all. If you feel like your in a situation that requires attention or out of the ordinary for you seek help from a medical healthcare professional.
Hyperventilation is a common symptom with panic attacks, this could cause you to faint because of lack of oxygen.
A panic attack normally does not hurt you as much physically then it does mentally. Unless you are the type that gets a panic attack and hurt your self in the process.
Panic attacks trick you into thinking you're in danger and they can be very scary, but once you take control of your breathing and return to a calmer state, there is usually no lasting damage to your health!

you need to learn yourself, and you need to learn what you need to do to try and control these attacks, you need to know what relaxes you or what helps you get through stressful times and when you feel like you're about to have a panick attack just breathe and try and do or listen to something that you know will make you feel calm.
the physical symptoms can be a range of things but mainly your breathing all you need to do is either focus on your breathing or do something to take your mind off it and you should return back to normal
The physical symptoms of a panic attack can be dangerous as often I feel dizzy and have many times fallen over due to the attck
They feel worse than they physically are because of the emotional side to it, but they're manageable.
The physical symptoms of a panic attack, as terrible as they feel, aren't actually dangerous at all! While they can cause scary, painful physical symptoms, such as lightheadedness, numbness, chest/arm pain, nausea, and more, the symptoms cannot and will not kill you.
It's essential to know what goes on during a panic attack, as fearing your death only makes things worse, adding extra worry and extra stress. Even though panic attacks are very scary, and have physical symptoms that can be incredibly intimidating, they do not direcly threaten your life. So focus more on calming down, and keep reminding yourself that it will go away.

The physical symptoms you feel are usually harmless and are ones that your mind tricks you into thinking are import and and harmful.
Usually the symptoms of a panic attack feel more intense and dangerous than they actually are. You're not going to die.

Though panic attack symptoms may feel dangerous, in reality you're in no danger of dying. Your body is experiencing an exaggerated fear response -- the symptoms of a panic attack (rapid heartbeat and breathing, restlessness, panic, etc.) are all there in order to get you out of what your brain perceives to be a dangerous situation. The symptoms are frightening but would be normal in response to an actual threat; as such, they pose no actual danger to you.

There are dangers when suffering panic attacks, and in very serious cases people can have repercussions like developing phobias and such. The sense of impending death however is, in all likelihood the brain being overloaded with thoughts and emotions
Panic attacks are very intense emotional and physical attacks. It is very difficult to cope with panic attacks at times, and the best course of action is to avoid triggers. If this is not possible, make an escape plan. Allow yourself time and movement to leave the situation that is causing your attacks, hopefully lessening the length they occur and helping you to overcome the anxiety the best you can.
The physical symptoms of panic do make you feel like you are going to die, but they are not dangerous. Your body is having an overreaction to physical symptoms that is triggering a "fight or flight" response that makes you feel as though your life is in danger. Relief from panic comes when we can try to ignore our natural response (terror) to these troubling symptoms.
panic attacks are extremely dangerous you should try reaching out to someone going through them alone is never a good idea.
although during a panic attack it can feel very scary and like you could die, but this will not happen, the symptoms will pass with time. it may be worth seeking some help on how to control your anxiety and there fore lesson the risk of panic attacks for yourself.

i don't think they are dangerous, they might just be overwhelming. that's why people often go on runs in order to cope with the adrenaline released during a panic attack
