You sound as if they frighten you quite a lot maybe seeing a doctor to talk about getting some help with them

Nobody have ever died from a panic attack. Panic attacks are caused by the fear of fear and even thought the symptoms are debilitating and terrifying they will not cause you any serious physical harm.

The physical symptoms of a panic attack are not extremely dangerous and certainly not life threatening most of the time. It may feel as though you are going to die; however, that is simply your bodies way of telling you that something is extremely wrong and it feels endangered.

Panic attacks do not cause your body any physical harm. Their real trick is making you fearful, and that can cause your mental well-being to degrade.

Possibly dehydration and extreme tiredness. Panic attacks drain a lot from you so make sure that you definitely get good amounts of sleep afterwards if you can. I dont know if there are anymore extreme symptoms

Physical symptoms of a panic attack may not be harmful but they also are not pleasant. Its known that people who have panic attacks say they feel like they are dying, this is fairly common among panic attacks. Unless the individual has had a heart issues in the past I would not worry to much but I would still keep an eye on him or her. Physical symptoms can be shaking, throwing up, fainting, hyperventilation, and sweating and many more other symptoms. Don't worry to much, this is a way for the body to cope with stress, but in the mean time give them comfort and do keep an eye on them just in case, you never know.

They are more dangerous the older you get. The older you are, the less elasticity your circulatory system has. Increased heart rate = increased stress on the circulatory system. It also depends on the situation you are in when having a panic attack.

They are not dangerous at all. The physical symptoms can include heart rate, which may lead to you thinking that you may have a heart attack. A healthy heart can pump 200 bpm, and your heart was made to handle stress. You are very very unlikely to have a heart attack from a panic attack. Another symptom is feeling light headed, which may lead to you thinking that you may pass out. This feeling is caused by reduced blood and oxygen flow to the brain. This is not harmful, and is a natural response of "fight or flight" . When you feel like you cant catch your breath, or there is pain there, it is often caused by your chest muscles contracting. No one has stopped breathing from panic.

Your mind is playing tricks on you that cause your body to detect stress that doesn't exist thus instigating a physical response. Repeated panic attacks may leave permanent effects on your body donor is good to learn to control them. One thing you should definitely focus on- breathing. Regulate it and slow it down. Move around. Validate your feelings but conquer them too.

You cannot die because a panic attack can last only up to MAX 20 minutes and your heart can handle that even though it feels really bad

Panic attacks do have physical symptoms that like any other can progress to a dangerous level. Blood pressure can rise, so can the pulse, accelerated breathing, all of which need attention. A person's medical history also determines how quickly a panic attack can turn into a medical emergency. If you feel like you could die or even feel like you are having a medical emergency just like any other cause of emergency call 9-1-1 or go to your emergency room where they can properly evaluate your situation.

They can be mildly dangerous but nothing to worry about. You won't die from one and you'll most likely get minor symptoms like feeling sick, dizzy etc. The best you can do is to breathe slowly through your nose and out of your mouth to slower your heart rate.

It honestly depends. The last attack I had hospitalised me and i was close to cardiac arrest because my resting heart rate was so fast. But I've been dealing with these for years and this was the first time, so it's rare. You have to be very, very careful. Generally though, they're quite mild and can be controlled with breathing methods. It's only severe cases where there is need for immediate medical intervention.

The physical results are very draining and can cause you to literally freeze and make you feel as if you were going to die but take deep breaths and know it is not that bad

They can be dangerous, but those are mostly mental. Physical symptoms are mostly your heart speeding up. It isn't too dangerous, just like you just finished a hard jog. You should definitely try to calm down afterwards by doing something quiet like reading

A panic attack is actually harmless! They are your body's (slightly malfunctioning) defense system, so it will want you to stay safe. Although you may be as though you may have a heart attack or might faint, you will be fine. Panic attacks can only hurt you in your mind.

The actual symptoms of a panic attack in themselves are not dangerous. One's reaction to the situation could put one in harms way depending on the scenario. The other thing to be mindful of is that a panic/anxiety attack can have similar symptoms to a heart attack. Please be sure to follow up with a medical doctor if you have never had symptoms like that previously.

There's no physical danger to panic attacks, you may feel as if your dying but you certainly will not.

It is not as dangerous as it feels. We create everything in our mind. Learn diaphragmatic breathing for such hard moments.

Technically, most symptoms of panic attacks, even though they feel so severe and terrible, most of them are non-threatening. I know a lot of people feel like they have to go to the hospital cause they feel so bad, but i've had panic attacks regularly for many years and haven't ever gone. I know that 99% of the time it's panic, and i just have to ride it out no matter how horrible it is. You aren't in physical real danger. I know it's easier said than done. Be well

Usually they're not physically harmful at all. A panic attack will often have us feeling like we're going to expire at any moment, and while it's happening you're second guessing your own logic and it feels completely real! But rest assured that other than an elevated heart rate and possibly higher blood pressure, your body is really okay. It might help to keep in mind that you're physically safe, even though your mind is doing loop-de-loops, and once you recognize that you're panicking you can at least reassure yourself that's what's going on.

The physical symptoms themselves are not dangerous , it just makes you think your going to die, your heart races till you can't feel it no more, by now your hyperventilating to the point you feel you can't catch your breath , in extreme cases you start crying from being scared and your hands start shaking, and your legs and arms feel very weak and possibly feel numb, by the time you think you are dying it's almost over, you distracted yourself from what triggered the panic attack to begin with

Physical symptoms include shortness of breath, tightness in chest, this won't kill you. You just need to learn to relax

The most likely physical symptoms you will experience are heart palpitations, shortness of breath or hyperventilation, feeling unreal or detached from your surroundings. Its unlikely that these symptoms will causes you any major dangers but simply feel uncomfortable. http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Panic-disorder/Pages/Symptoms.aspx

When you have a panic attack it is completely normal to feel like something drastic is going to happen, like dying. Don't worry because it's not going to happen. What you should do is remove yourself from the situation and talk to someone about your problem. While the physical symptoms like hyperventilating, can be dangerous, like there is a chance of passing out, but you won't die, that side is purely mental

Assuming it IS just a panic attack, there's no reason to be afraid! Unless you have other severe health conditions (like a heart problem) you're totally fine! Source: http://www.calmclinic.com/panic/attacks/can-panic-attacks-kill-you
