First I would accept sadness as a part of my life. Second, I would just open my eyes just to see if among all that sadness there is something funny. As soo as I see it I would force myself to smile and take a shower.
Every time when I go to sleep , I write the things that make me feel happy on a diary
When I wake up , I read them and I overcome this sadness ,
It is a whole process to eliminating this feeling
The frist step you have to do, is to figure out why your feeling this way, and once you figure out why remove those things or people out of your life, listen to happy music, change things around go out for a walk do some meditation, just hang in there things will get better
Start your mornings off with things you enjoy for example listening to your favorite song or eating your favorite food. I know little things like that may seem unimportant but they are and will make a huge difference

Wake up and think of all the things you're happy to have or grateful for or just start with some light exercise :) A great and easy solution is to surround yourself with what you love before you sleep so you'll wake up seeing all the things the makes you happy. ( Could be a picture, stuff toys, pets)
I would recommend you to start your day with a positive thinking. Try to think positive start your day positive.

just think about all the good things you're gonna do today ! Think about your goals for the day ! and decide to yourself that you will wake up with smile.
Do something to make you happy before and after you go to sleep try to be happy with yourself first
Try to find the smallest things in life that make you happy. It doesn't have to be "This just makes me the happiest person on the planet" kind of happy, but a "Yeah that's something I enjoy". Whether it's seeing a bird in a tree, watching a liked tv show, seeing a friend, or giving someone a hug, as soon as you find the small things in life that make you smile and appreciate them, you'll soon start waking up looking forward to them, and generally feeling better about yourself.
Thats pretty hard!! Wake up have a good breakfast and keep your self so busy that you dont get time to think about something which makes you sad
You cannot forget but bad experiences build us up as individuals.Don't be afraid of them and always try to learn from them.Keep being positive and look for happiness closer to you, i apet, in a smile, in a flower.
Think about good things. :) Waking up to another morning is enough reason to be happy. Always choose to be happy. :)
Plan your day and go after them keep your mind busy about your self or things you love and be proud of your self and know that you are your best friend
you need to figure out whats making you sad in the first place and work on that bit by bit day by day

A great way of waking up in a better mood is realizing that it's a new day, and that you should make the best out of it.

Listen to music. Do exercises such as yoga, jogging. Distract yourself from things which make you sad. Busy yourself so that you've got no time left to think about things which make you sad. Hope it helps :)

Tell yourself positive things about yourself and think positive about what you have in front of you. Let the other person realize what they lost for being a jerk.
Wake up, and convince yourself this is the last 24 hours to live. And then enjoy every moment, taste what that last tea feels like, speak to someone and leave them with warm feelings, tidy up somewhere so loved ones don't need to deal with it, leave note for someone... if you are reading this then I am no longer here... So forget sadness and rush to live each moment fully!

Wake up to a happy song. Keep yourself best and most importantly, do what you love. For at the end of the day, you should live the life that makes you happy.
Doing something that makes you happy before you go to bed may possibly change that for you. Like your favorite hobbies or listening to music that makes you happy.
Find something that will make you happy for the rest of your life. Something that you enjoy everyday

Distract your mind, read a book, watch a movie, join a dance class, walk in the park, go for a run do anything to help you forget whatever has you hurting so much.
It depends on exactly what you want to forget, sometimes forgetting is not the answer, maybe you need to solve the problem instead of running away from it by sleeping or forgetting.

It could all depend on what you're trying to forget. You can try to do things that make you happy before bed and/or right when you get up. If this problem doesn't resolve itself you might want to consider talking to a counselor
before bed you can take a relaxing bath and when you wake up make the first thing you look at something positive

Think of all the positive things in your life and make a few changes to your lifestyle, see how its going to have a good impact on you!
do something that will take your mind off of whats making you sad
.
Try to go to sleep with a positive goal for the next day. In the morning, try to achieve it. For example, a goal could be to work out in the morning or greet at least five people. It could even be to complete something you haven't gotten a chance to complete. This way you'll have the opportunity to wake up with a positive and determined mindset and be focused on achieving a goal instead of thinking about negative thoughts. It's a good way to distract yourself from your thoughts and grow as a person.
Everytime you go to sleep, sleep with the vision for the beautiful next day nd have gratitude in heart for the day you had. When you get up say thanks to the universe for the amazing day...!
