People with ADHD face many problems daily. For example, my brother cannot control himself enough to do simple things such as chores without his medicine- although he is only 11. Also, it is hard for him to talk to people, meet eyes, or concentrate for any amount of time unless he is engrossed in what he's doing. I've seen him struggle; he can't function well without medicine but the meds make him "not himself". People with ADHD have a harder time with many things.
People with ADHD have problems with paying attention to a single topic or subject and have difficulty with keeping a mellow amount of energy.

It is hard because I have ADHD myself I have a hard time with my mind racing so I have to step back and take a few breaths and tell myself to slow down it is ok just take your time it will be ok.
In my opinion, low self-esteem and low-self-worth are two big struggles people with ADHD face. The many times an authority figure or parental figure tells that one to try harder or you failed at this or that can significantly impact that one in years to come.
Every person with ADHD is effected differently, so it depends on the person and how severe or mild their ADHD is. Common struggles are; not being able to focus, your mind going from one place to another, not being able to stay in one place for long, getting ahead of yourself, stumbling over your words, and other things along those lines. You can always research online!
I am a person who is having ADHD despite being an adult and I won't say it really is a struggle but they are few things...
- Usually, we tend to move around a lot. Even if we sit down, a body part will always move. For example, stomping your feet.
- We usually can't focus in class
- We would interrupt people to speak something or else we'll forget. Also, no one can interrupt us or else we will forget easily
- Depression
- Mixed Emotions
- Sexual Desire
- Being bullied/teased by other people due to the fact that they are different
There's more of it but I can't seem to remember most of it. By the way, live up to it. I have ADHD and I'm so proud of it that I tell everyone about it and also, I don't take any meds for it.

As a person with ADHD it just distracts me throughout the day, sometimes I can't hold a conversation sometimes because of it.
Sometimes I stare off into space and forget that I'm talking to someone and that makes people think I don't want to listen to what they're saying and that causes problems.
Sometimes it's hard to cope with ADHD but you get used to it and learn to work with it.
People with ADHD are usually very creative, intelligent, and intuitive. However, they do struggle in other areas due to the fact that this is a neurological disorder. Their brain is typically moving at a fast rate, so they have trouble thinking before they speak. This can cause issues in their relationships and many misunderstandings. They also tend to have issues with authority for these same reasons. Being forgetful is another struggle since they have so much going on in their mind at once. Due to all of these "open tabs" in the brain, they also have trouble focusing. All of these things combined, in many cases, causes other issue such as anxiety and depression.
Everyone who has adhd has a different experience. For the purpose of this question I’ll talk about mine. First thing that is hard is not even the adhd itself but the people around you. People have trouble understanding what having adhd means. People assume that adhd can somehow magically be turned of if they tell you to sit still or focus enough times. It doesn’t work like that, it is completely out of our control. I mean the other stuff like being hyper and unfocused is hard to deal with but it is harder when the people around you don’t get it.

As a person with ADHD I can share what I struggle with. ◎[▪‿▪]◎ Oftentimes focus can be a struggle, sometimes it’ll be hard or impossible to focus and your mind just wanders elsewhere. At times people with ADHD go into hyperfocus and are extremely absorbed in one thing that it’s hard to divert from that. Forgetfulness is one thing too, along with being extremely disorganized. Some people with ADHD also have a hard time sitting still and will act on impulse. Hopefully that helps!? ≧◡≦
Hi! I am a teen that struggles with ADHD. if you don't know what it is it is a chronic condition marked by persistent inattention, hyperactivity, and sometimes impulsivity. For me at least it's hard to stay focused for a certain period of time. I also cant sit or stand still. Another problem I deal with is anxiety, so you can only imagine what I feel like 24/7. People with ADHD try their best to stay focused, but when your mind is think 1,000,000 things at once you just can't focus.
For me, I find it really hard to concentrate on something that doesn't take my interest while on the other hand if something does interest me, I'll pretty much hyper focus on it.
I tend to be impulsive, saying or doing things which I regret shortly after;
I get overwhelmed, especially in big and busy crowds or when I simply have a lot of things on the agenda.
I used to get really aggressive when I got pissed off, which went hand in hand with being impulsive, although this did calm down when getting older.
I have a hard time remembering things, I forget a LOT, find it difficult to plan things and have the tendency to delay important tasks.

For me, it’s a lot of brain fog that causes me to feel “stuck†and unmotivated. I lose things frequently, especially my keys and phone. It causes a lot of absent-mindedness, difficulty sleeping, fidgeting, struggles with listening and focusing, and impulsiveness. I struggle to keep my mouth shut and not blurt out when I’m excited about something. It’s taken a lot of discipline and organizational strategies to improve and I still have bad days where I struggle to focus and be productive.

I face having ADHD is my mind racing feeling where I feel like I have to do everything at once or I feel like I have miniatures of myself setting off bombs in my head if I don't do everything at once.
People with ADHD have trouble focusing, finishing things on time and getting things done. They often need to do many things at a time as well.

It's good you seem to want to understand. That is definitely a great start. The biggest thing to know is that people with ADHD struggle with paying attention. Not that they don't want to or that they are not interested, it is almost impossible for people with ADHD to keep focused on that. It may take a few reminders or reengaging comments (nice ones) to help them stay on track. Sometimes you will hear that people with ADHD don't feel understood, this may be as that others who don't have ADHD don't have the patience to keep up with those who do have ADHD. For people who live with ADHD or know someone who does, PATIENCE is key.
They struggle with focusing closely on things. They can focus, but it may take a lot more effort than someone else.
Cant concentrate or focus on one thing become restless easily Keep fidgeting most of the time, Take up a task cannot complete it on time
i know from experience that ADHD is dificult but you can overcome it. some of the struggles are as follows: difficulty focusing, depression, mood swings and many others but if we work together we can overcome those obstacles.

People with ADHD often struggle with focusing on their work or being overly focused on a single thing. They also tend to be relatively restless.

From my experience we face a lot of fidgeting in place and wanting to talk freely all the time, my brain just has so many things it wants to say and a lot of people don't like that.

I struggle with conversation keeping. I'll jump from topic to topic and off topic then come back to the first topic. People get upset at me for getting off topic. :) But I shine through :)
they face the problems of focussing. this becomes difficult. also the problem of being to active figitty or hyper.
I have ADHD inattentive type, and personally, my biggest struggle is completing tasks. I love to write, but I've only ever finished a handful of stories because I get distracted and never go back and finish it. Over the years in school, there have hundreds of homework assignments I never turned in because I never finished them.
I also have a big problem with losing focus mid-conversation. I always have to ask people to repeat themselves, so most people think I'm either rude or have hearing problems.
It's really frustrating, because people always tell me how smart I am, but I don't really feel smart. I feel like I'm trapped in an invisible box, and when the box stops me from really participating, everyone just yells at me for screwing all the time. When I try to tell them about the box, they tell me it isn't real and that I just need to try harder.
The best way to describe ADHD is by the time you act on a thought, you are already thinking and starting the next thought. Its like you are a step ahead of yourself, and it easily becomes overwhelming.
It's different for everyone. I, personally, have a lot of trouble focusing. I have trouble staying still. I fidget a lot. I can't do one thing at a time. I have trouble finishing whatever I'm working on.
