How Did You Hear About 7 Cups?
Well, back in November of 2014, I wasn't exactly feeling the greatest. I was sad and confused and very anxious. So, I wanted to talk to someone out there, so I looked up "online therapy" and "free therapy" and was just searching for somebody who wanted to be empathetic. I finally came across the website and became a member shortly afterwards. I used to log on a lot and just talk about things that kind of bugged me, or I didn't know what to do. Eventually, I decided I wanted to become a listener. So, I joined and was eager to earn badges the very first time I logged in as a fresh, new listener. I completed nearly all of the courses, and I chatted with several people. As of today, I still do that! Earn badges and talk to people. And I love it.
I heard about 7 Cups through a friend who was also an intern for the site. She told me about what it was. I was in need of an internship myself so I decided to try it out. It has been a very eye opening experience and even difficult at times. However, it has all been worth it. I am very glad I chose to become a part of this!

I was searching on some job search website for an internship (possibly Indeed.com but I don't remember for sure) and 7 Cups of Tea came up in my search. I'm a psychology major so becoming a listener on here was the perfect opportunity for me to gain some active listening skills!

I came across it on tumblr after searching a trigger. A screen comes up that asks if you are okay and gives you resources if you are not. 7 Cups was one of the resources.
A Friend posted in her IGbio, the link. I had never heard of it before and asked her what it was about, if she worked there or liked the support. And she told me about it. I'm glad she did!
I was looking for a internship within the psych field and Icame across 7cups on internships.com, and I applied for the internship, as well as, for the listener portion. I'm so glad I found 7cups! I love this site, and Ilove being a listener. This is going to be great to put on my resume!
