Day 3: Daily Mental Health Check-in

It’s common for us to schedule a routine visit to the doctor when we aren’t feeling our best, so it should be common for us to check-in with our mental health to ensure that we are physically, mentally and emotionally in tune.

Mentally disengaged, probably a form of social quarantine for self protection. Physically drained, sleeping only when I'm too physically exhausted to function any more.


I wish I knew what to fill my headspace with, other than the past that is. It certainly isn't filled with thoughts of the future, which is not going to be good.


My last whole meal was about 10 days ago.


What the heck even is joy? Seriously.

    my brain is currently a void, I’ve only just woken up so nothing is currently bothering me 😀

    last night for dinner 😀

    of course i am, I’m always tired 😀

    having a hot chocolate 😛

    I am feeling overwhelmed and sleepy.

    I think I worry about everything that I have yet to accomplish for work and school.

    I always eat a whole meal. :)

    Yeah, I am tired.

    Hmm.. would continue my self-care afterward. <3

  • How am I feeling today? (Mentally and Physically)

    It's been a ride, honestly. I had a good morning, but then the anxiety started kicking in in the afternoon. I just had a therapy session and I feel a bit better but also i'm kind of floundering.

  • What’s taking up most of my headspace?

    An hour is never enough time for therapy. I have an entire week of things building up to tell my therapist about. We are still in the beginning stages and we haven't broached all of the subjects yet.

  • When did I last eat a whole meal?

    Does bread for breakfast count? That was several hours ago.

  • Am I tired?

    Less than I normally am.

  • What will I engage in today that will bring me joy?

    watching shows with friends. maybe write something.

4 yes I am tired but I'm still making it through this evening

5. I will talk to a friend of mine later on tonight and I will also read my Bible study. Both of these bring me Joy

I’m feeling good both physically and mentally.


There’s nothing that I can think of that’s taking up most of my head space since I had such a good day today.


The last time I had a who meal was when I had dinner a little while ago.


I am not tired.


I shared laughs with the other friend group that I hung out with yesterday and I had dance practice today after school so, yeah, that’s what I engaged in that brought me joy.

Hello, hello Mango! As always, thank you for these caring check-ins 💛

How am I feeling today? Mentally, I'm all right. I was having anxiety earlier and still feel a bit bad that I was too anxious to make much progress on some upcoming responsibilities, but I'm also trying to give myself grace and remember that I have the capability to figure things out even if I may struggle. Physically, I'm a little tired. Sleep has still been somewhat problematic for me.

What's taking up most of my headspace? Ideas for a story that I want to write down, along with lyrics to a song stuck in my head, and the fact that I'll have bread ready to bake in about fifty minutes.

When did I last eat a whole meal? About ten minutes ago. I had pasta! :D

Am I tired? Yep.

What will I engage in today that will bring me joy? Writing stories! (^ ^)
