I want a hug, I'm heartbroken, my mom is dying, she has cancer and she is almost with no time to live, I'm not with her now, I have to travel to see her and I'm so afraid I won't make it on time to say goodbye. They tell me she doesn't look the same anymore and she is not able to get out of bed anymore. She is almost unconscious.
I'm afraid, so afraid and I feel so lonely.
Can't sleep, can't eat.

Thank you for that. Unfortunately I couldn't make it to see her one last time, she passed on Sunday the 11th.
I only made it to her funeral. I miss her.

in need of a hug. i've been attending a DBT group/class and I keep crying after almost every session. I think part of it is leaving at the end of the session and having to go home and feel lonely. I don't know how much anyone reading this knows about DBT (and I'm certainly no expert), but some of the "distraction skills" we were going over today, include "self soothing" and one example was "hug someone". Not entirely sure how that's /self/ soothing when it requires another human being, and I really want to cuddle with someone and be taken care of right now. Thanks for reading <3
