It's not that I don't appreciate it, believe me, I do. but whenever someone who doesn't know me personally says something like "I care about you" or "There are people who care about you" etc it just doesn't mean much. I mean, if someone doesn't know me why on Earth would they care about me?

Even with the hug, I would only want it if the person knows me well and knows what I'm going through otherwise it's kind of meaningless. I don't know, I tend to think things through logically which is probably why I feel this way.
