Thank you for this thread, I often visit and read things I love about myself :) And about others who love things about themselves :)
@Prxttyhxlper This is an amazing exercise to remind people how wonderful they are and realize it themselves! I believe this is the first step to overcome any struggle! I like that I'm passionate with anything I do! Thank you for sharing this post with us!
@calmDew1576
Nice! I am passionate too but my passions make me tired and burned out.
Oof I can relate to that!
I like that I appreciate goodness ๐ค๐ค
@RileyMHC
Nice! I like this about me too. Thank you for sharing :).
I'm quite proud that I'm so humble.
I find myself recognizing the inner voice of others and how it projects both positive and negative energy in every social interaction. We talk to ourselves internally much as our parents once did externally. Echoes of our early development formulate our adult self image.
@miraculousParadise2759
This inner voice thing is helpful! Thanks for sharing. I like to be humble too.
@miraculousParadise2759
LOL good one.
@Prxttyhxlper nothing but if it were "one thing u don't like about yourself" i could name thousands of things i don't like about me

when i was a little girl, i was taken to Iran and told this fluffy beautiful thing was my friend. for 2 or 3 days. i was in heaven. I had never had a friend before. i loved the little sheep... its eyes, its trust, its smell, its feel- and the way it trusted me especially ... Then- as cultural norms go- it was sacrificed. Right in front of me. i was... horrified? traumatized? words... thry fall short. in both Persian and English.
So i love sheep. it is the term sheep that encompasses all i despise - the existence of people who are sheep-like- who will not think for themselves or go against the "norms". drooling zombies.
Tbere is even a movie calked zombie sheep set in nz.
im trying to be vegan again....lol
what are you about?

@ThisCrazyLife77
Holy crap, I am so sorry that you had to go through that as a child. I could see that even being a traumatic experience for some adults. As you said though, cultural norms, and unfortunately the gravity of psychological repercussions typically aren't taken into account. I honestly feel awful now for my comment as my intent was only to maybe make a stranger smile. I'm very grateful though for how you received it and responded, so thank you for that.
I find how you have personally
chosen to handle that trauma to be quite beautiful, actually. To embrace it and turn it into something meaningful to you rather than to hide that scar and let it haunt you. That's a skill that all people should aspire to have. Thank you for sharing that.
And what am I about? That could either be a very short answer or a very long one, as I am on the autism spectrum and often don't know when to shut up. Short answer? I've identified as an anarchist for 20+ years now and have been pushing towards the goal of becoming 100% sustainable for at least half of that time. I'm also a domestic violence and narcissistic abuse survivor and couldn't be more proud to be the father of the strongest little five year old woman that I've ever met.
Thanks for your response. I appreciate you. โค๏ธ
@6Pig6Pen6
oh lovie- please do not feel bad! You did make me smile- in being unapologetically who you are and honest. i was just being honest as well.
as an empath- text is sometimes very hard for me to "read." autism spectrum is something i am familiar with second-hand.
Anarchist? we could go on here or if you wish i am here for a talk in direct message.
Keep being you. You are beautiful.

@Prxttyhxlper
This took a while to think of...
My favorite thing is probably the way I treat others. I know that is kind of a weird thing to point out but if there was someone like me that I could be friends with, that would be my best friend and my role model. I wish there were more people that helped others and treated people nicely.
Thank you for making me think about this! ๐ญโค๏ธ

I took me a solid minute to think of something but I think I like the way that Iโm usually very chill. I donโt get mad over small things and even when I am I donโt lash out or take it out on others.
I have a lot of shortcomings but I think this is one positive trait.
thanks for the post. :))
