Generally yoga is best in my experience to release emotions, especially if it is added up with half moon poses. Walking and any kind of exercise works too. Having a shower is another way. And, if you can stay with your emotions rather than avoiding or neglecting them you may notice a little difference in volume.

I'll go to the gym or find a quick workout on YouTube. it's helpful. changes my mindset and helps me focus on my well being. Pick something easy to do 15 minutes or until the feeling passes for the moment. Hope this was helpful. <3
Think of more sad stuff to feel like a super sad main character and then cry my eyes out until I fall asleep
1. Write my feelings into a poem
2. Treat myself some ice cream
3. Take my bike out and go on riding
