Gratitude really is.💛
A recent memory I'm grateful for is spending time with my love ones and laughing together at silly things.🧿💛
How about you?
Spending time with loved ones is just such a blessing. Wish you all the best.
As for me I am going through such a difficult time that I thought I might start this thread to be reminded of good and happy memories and experiences.
@carefulWest6083
Aw thank you and I find it incredibly admirable how you chose to create space for some good despite going through a tough time. It shows remarkable amount of resilient and an optimistic spirit you carry. I truly hope things go easier soon and of course till then may you collect lots of good things to cherish!💛

Thank you. Reading this really touched me. I feel speechless at how nice it was to read.
Sometimes we forget to be grateful even for the little and tiny things...
One of my favorite memories...
I went to my first concert a year ago, all by myself and in a country that wasn't the one I was born in, I didn't know anyone, but every girl I met that day was so supporting and kind to me, I ended up making new friends (even though I am so shy and introverted).
How about yours?

I had a wonderful seventh grade reading teacher, he was very understanding and almost all days of school since October he'd let me stay in for lunch and recess, where i'd catch up on work or simply goof off. he'd protect me and defend for me against another student or teacher, and I felt really comfortable around him by December 2023, and I think the start of January was when I first came out to him as part of the LGBTQ+ community because of how comfortable I was
I was so scared but he was understanding, and because of that I ended up coming out to my seventh grade science and writing teacher.Â
some great times with him would include spending lunch breaks eating and talking, him saying how well I did on state tests, him letting me sort books and talking, honestly, great guy.
he was almost 1 year and 4 months younger then my mom, he's turning 39 next year (my mom turned 40 back in August) and he's like an understanding father I never had. (I have a father honestly, i just never found myself being close to an older man other then my reading teacher)
this year, I assume he was laid off due to budget cuts, I wanted to catch up on my summer break with him but it was too late.
truly, an amazing teacher. amazing second father.
I will never take him for granted.Â

for me it not just one time memory it more about time spent with someone very dear to me. he was special in so many ways too. my grandpa was one of the very few people in my childhood that was safe and showed  he cared about me. we take long walks in the woods on his farm just talk about things most not even see it seems. like the way the trees whisper in as the wind blows or how within the dryup wood on the ground there something within it wanting to be free my grandpa was a master carver too. so he look at the wood see what was within it and craver away the wood until it was free from the other wood. we talk about spiritual things a lot too. he only one i felt like know me for who i am. not for what others expected me to be.
i was so blessed to have him in my life until i was 10yr when he died in his sleep. he felt more like a dad to me then my dad who i lived with too.

I remember when I was a little girl I would spend hours outside playing with my dogs. My mother would have to fight to get me to come back inside when it was dark. Still love my all my pets.
A recent favorite memorie is the good time I spend with my friend, talking abt our entertainment and mbti.
And the time someone of my family spend with me and God, while I was having a hard time.
Gratitude is a life value very important for health, soul, helps to improve in the virtues.

a favorite memory I often find myself going back to is breakfast at my grandmothers in Mexico. It was a time when most family members could go and no care in the world just laughter, love and amazing food.Â
