I started with 7 cups in mid October. I learned about it from a professor. It was a resource she gave her students. I had my doubts at first. I joined cups and now I have a place to turn to for support; no matter the time or what the weather is.

 I know it's late but thanks for all your help to get started with this volunteer and understanding through tough times. Love you all and a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year may the best ones bring and new ones happen. May your 2025 years be worth it, and for some of you, a better year to come.

I joined 7 Cups as a member in December 2023 after seeing an ad in google. I quickly discovered the platform's value, finding the listeners to be incredibly kind, supportive, and non-judgmental. They provided a safe space for me to express my struggles, including family issues, anxiety, and feelings of loneliness.

7 Cups helped me develop coping mechanisms, particularly by encouraging me to ignore negative family dynamics and focus on your own mental well-being. I felt less depressed, stressed, and anxious after connecting with the community.

Recognizing the positive impact of 7 Cups, I  became a listener in 18th June 2024, finding fulfillment in supporting others. I believe in the power of the platform to provide a lifeline for those in need and hope to continue contributing to the supportive community for many years to come.😊🙏💖

My fave memories are just those involving chats with members where they were able to feel hope and more positive about their circumstances. Like others have shared, I'm also grateful for this community and the support that the site can provide to so many :)

This year, 2024, was the year when I started volunteering as a listener in 7 cups. 

There were many members I had chatted with. Though it was my first time talking to people by chatting in an app I was previously unfamiliar with, I learned how to be empathetic and to actively listen without interrupting. I learned many new things through the training sections in 7 cups. As well as the forum posts were engaging. 

I would like thank @CherryMango for this post. It allowed me to reflect my time at 7 cups. I am grateful for taking part in this role to help others. I also thank @GentleHealingInitiative for providing support. Thank you.
